I am not saying he is going to dawn the fisbowl helmet, the green tights, and the purple cape... but it will leave some speculation out there... why are there so many dream sequences? Maybe just coincidence but I think we will see a Mysterio origin just to throw in some humor...

if anything, it'll be a Campell/Beck cameo. a nod to fans. there won't be any dream sequences because of him...and he won't be in costume. it just doesn't make sense for it to be that way.

It wouldnt make sense that just Beck(no Mysterio) was the 4th villain. Thats like saying Dr. Conners was a villain in SM2.

Well Dr. Connors is just a regular guy when he's not the Lizard. But Beck can still do something villainous to Spidey when he's not Mysterio.

He died in SM1 after he fell out of the window so he is not Shocker. Secondly, if that guy is the 4th villian, then every robber, mugger, shooter that Spider-Man catches would be considered a villian. These scenes with Uncle Ben, Sandman, and the killer are all going to be flashbacks or dream sequences anyways.

agreed, as much as I would hate beck to be in movie, he most accuratly fits the news/story about a master mind about events, although I think thats false, well maybe.

But still he's a recurring villain. Its not that a crazy idea to put out.

Batman Begins had 4 villains - Falcone, Scarecrow, Ra's Al Ghul and Mr Zazz (it think thats right)

and Zazz was only in the movie for barely two minutes.
