Unfortunately, this is incredibly uninspired list for me. No surprises. The first two are geekgasm moments. The third and fifth list items were just so fraggin cool. And the fourth was very appropriate for the story, maybe the most appropriate of all the superhero endings.

Honorary Mention: Always liked Ang Lees ending for Hulk. The angry line in Portuguese.

Honorable mention goes to the last moments of Batman, with that perfect heroic-yet-bittersweet image of Batman up there as the signal shines for the first time.

I mean whatever point you feel the movie enters it's final move to the end. (The start of Phoenix's speech. Tony Stark starting the press conference. The bandit's raid in Hulk. The rooftop scene in BB but not the talk with Rachel.) Batman 89 had a weirdly long ending, imo. I'd start with Alfred and Vicki instead of the pan up the buildings.

Superman: No sir, don't thank me warden...we're all part of the same team. Good night.

WARDEN salutes as SUPERMAN rises into the night sky. The theme tune builds as Superman soars into space, and then flies towards us, smiling at us before flying away.

Robo just shot Dick Jones and he fell out the window, long pause all the board members look at Robo. he twirls his gun and puts it in the leg holster.

Old Man: "Nice shooting son, what's your name?"
Robo: (pauses) "Murphy" (with a smirk)

Robo turns and walks out the room cut to black screen with the title
