As a side story, yeah, it could work. I definitely wouldn't want them to be the main villain or storyline.

This is a really cool idea for a thread. I'm going to have fun going through it, looking at all of the covers and comments. I recently started getting into the comics. I'm only a couple of issues in, but I started at the beginning. I'm very excited about it. The early comics are, obviously, dated and cheesy, but the basics of the stories still seem to work and the artwork is incredible to look at. I sometimes find myself looking at a certain panel for a minute or two.
