Clark shouldnt get "sick" by overextending himself. He's immune to any earthly viruses. The only way he gets sick is catching a kryptonian bug in the PZ.

Theoretically a Kryptonian virus would also be strengthened by the yellow sun when Clark returned to Earth which would be able to affect Clark. That then brings up the problem of if it's contagious would it wipe out all of humanity?

I agree with what Hulk said: it makes sense that the only virus he could get would be of kryptonian origin, but maybe it wasn't virulant enough to be contagious post his initial infection or maybe it just didn't affect humans....

Or it could have probably wiped out humanity otherwise.

I decided to end my responses over in the ED thread because I didnt want to continue corrupting the ED thread, but my line of thinking was exactly what Hulk said.

:woot:

Anyone have a screen cap of Chloe's kite from the end of the episode?

She just wants to get with Clark. When I first met my wife she acted like she was all into Bruce Lee and Karate and stuff. I found out later the truth. :whatever:

Excellent points  though my buddy Carl Sagan would probably have debated the compatibility issue between life forms with different biologies and evolutionary origins. But that opens up a whole nutha can-o-worms...

*cough* :p

Awesome Kal! Knew you'd come through!

Oh, did anyone catch the other Superman anvil in this scene? When Chloe asks Lois to join them at the beach, Lois replies:

"Have you guys looked up in the sky lately?"

:D

Guys sorry it's late, busy week and all.

Here is my review of Sneeze on Tvmegasite.

Please, as always let me know what you thought.:woot:

Sorry, B8... don't know where my head was.

I read it but didn't comment.

I think you're a bit harsh when it comes to the comedic aspects, they were some of my favorite parts and pulled this episode out of the cellar for me.

*shrug*

Even though I don't agree with it, I thought it was well written.

I may have been a bit harsh, I just didn't think the new power was taken as seriously as I was hoping. I hope we'll see it some past this episode.

Yeah...every time super-breath was used in the episode I couldn't help but laugh.

-Big slow-mo inhalation? Hilarious.

-Clark blowing clouds away for a sunny day? Too cheesy to be taken seriously.

Wha? How was that scene even intended to "be taken seriously"? It was just a sweet, nice little moment of Clark showing off his power.

I thought that's what the entire second half of the episode was about.

Not to mention that scene was totally telegraphed. As soon as you see a cloudy Kent farm, it's so blatantly obvious that that's whats going to happen. A little bit of unpredictability is all I ask.

Okay just read it, didnt agree with alot of it, but you put together a good review nonetheless.

I dont know why you would think Clark would be showing signs of a cold the moment he comes back from the PZ. Viruses can take several days to incubate within the body before any symptoms are seen. So I kind of thought that part of it played out really well.

I also didnt think Lois not recognising the barn door was a "duh" moment. When I was travelling around the States last summer, I couldnt believe how many red barns I saw.

And I actually enjoyed the comedic side of this story, and the Lex plot was so insignificant to me that it didnt bother me that it was a been there done that before moment.

But you did a good job!

You've made a good point, there are a lot of red barns....

I forget why, but there is a reason for it I thought.
