Okay so I finally got to see the epi via Youtube and for real...who the hell the Lana think she is?

I mean c'mon, back in the first two seasons I had the biggest crush on this character...back when she was sweet, innocent, and an all around cool girl.

But now, especially since last season, Lana has NO redeeming qualities whatsoever! Honestly, what does Clark AND Lex see in THIS Lana?! She's brash, stuck up, bitter, and a mooch.
(Pretty much an all around b****.)

That scene when she goes, "The cameras go, or I do." :whatever:

If I were Lex, I would've sent her and her bags packin'...

Sorry to vent but that scene really pissed me off... :cmad:

Hey Kai, are you able to get a screen capture of the DVDs Martha rented for Clark. I was wondering if they were Cheaper by the Dozen and The Fog. :woot:

Noes they all have the same cover lol.

Can you post the scene in the Kent house Where, Lois, Clark & Martha are talking then lois looks out the window to see the barn door gone followed by clark & martha stand behind.

also the scene where Lois says Uh-oh, does clarky have the sniffles? and lois looks at clark and martha looks at both of them .

Thanks Kai, Your the best .

Lois needs to work out in every single episode until the series ends.

I have a policy NEVER to question a blessing, but who the hell runs like that. And I must say, that wasn't very good acting in response to the door.

With that being said, it was my favorite scene in the whole episode, and i agree with he who suggested every episode should a tradition of having lois jog.

I thought the episode was very "meh."

A few things that stuck out to me:

1.) Super-breath. The first time he used it was just ridiculous. Did they really need to spend all of that money to show it to us? C'mon, that's almost as pointless as the "inner ear superhearing." Once is okay, but if they do it on a regular basis I will be VERY upset.

2.) Chloe's reasoning behind the super-breath. If Clark has *always* had this lung capacity, why is he just learning about it now? You'd think he would have accidentally blown a couch across the room while extinguishing a candle or something.

3.) Clark blowing the clouds away at the end. WHAAAAT? Uber-cheese.

4.) The acting. Acting in this episode just was not very good. The villain of the week was awful, and Justin Hartley was terrible IMO. Wasn't he supposed to be uber-good in that Aquaman pilot? I hope he improves in time.

5.) Lana was being super irrational in this episode and it frustrated me.

6.) I don't like the way they're handling the "Lex forgot about his time as Zod" stuff.

Other than that, this was NOT a bad episode...just a mediocre one. It was a lot funnier (intentionally or not) than a lot of recent episodes, more lighthearted. If some of my above points had been tweaked a bit, I think the episode would have been immensely more enjoyable.

1. I agree that the inner-ear zoom for the superhearing is pointless, and i think/hope they stop doing that. While i agree that if they do the whole superbreath thing everytime, its' gonna get old, but first tiem is ok, and i am willing to let it slide if they continue to do it for each and every one.

2. You certainly do NOT use your entire lung capacity to blow out some candles. Again, just like the super-hearing, he didn't realize how far he could push himself until it was necessary. He didn't realize how well he could hear until he lost his vision, and had to rely on his hearing. Just like in this one. He was always able to use superbreath if he wanted to, but he never needed to use it because he would just use his hands to ply open a door. Since his sneezes are so strong, he realized he blow really hard too.

3. Agree.

4. Agree. I hope Aquaman picks up his acting too, although i could tell he wasn't a very good actor in the aquaman tralier.

5. Agree. That character pisses me off with each episode. I'm really not sure where they are taking her character in the show, because it is terrible.

6. Agree. they love to put the whole memory loss angle on lex a lot don't they.

Looked to me like she was beating the air like a drum, playing along with the music.

Hee! Look at the shape she's in. Whatever she's doing, it's working. Don't knock it man. :p ;) :D

Do you know there are people over at Ksite comparing that scene to Clark looking at Lana through his telescope? And they're telling the Clark defenders that they see the characters through rose coloured glasses. :whatever:

and that right there is why the Kryptonsite forums are the "short bus" of the Smallville internet boards. (although I like K-Site best for news, etc.)

Its so comparable isnt it? Watching someone drinking coffee on their porch versus watching someone undress in the privacy of their bedroom.

Gah! Another post I missed. That's really a bummer. I hope she reconsiders. :(

Nothing new to add but I just wanted to finally drop a comment on this episode.

I for one thought the effect for how he charges up his lungs so to speak was cool :D Much more interesting than how it was done in SR.

I just hope they don't do the slow motion in every episode now, Plus I'm still upset we didn't see The freezing ability of Super-Breath .

As for The Special effects , [I actually liked The SR version better.] :super:

I'm sure they'll do freeze breath in a future ep. They can get very creative with that if they put their minds to it. Things that are supercooled become extremely brittle and can shatter like glass. Imagine the possibilities there. ;)

All I remember from SR was a "cone" of wind. I don't remember it being as cool as this...
