I honestly don't know, Lex is kidnapped, so I don't know maybe she went to Clark so he would try to save him or Clark went to her to know more about what happened to Lex.

That sounds like the most likely scenario. It makes sense that she would say that to him, and only him.

I'm sure you were hoping as much as I am that they were over with the Clark and Lana Secrets.

I really want them to find another way of moving these two on without falling back on that all the time.

The secrets? Yes.

But really, it's not like they've ever resolved that situation. Lana's moved on, but she still has no idea what Clark's secrets are. So for her to get pissed at him for continuing to not give her straight answers when she needs them just makes sense to me.

I don't think she cares enough anymore to want to know Clark's secrets. Sadly, I think she's given that up completely. But she does want to protect Lex now, so I don't think she's going to have a lot of patience with Clark if she feels she needs information that he's holding out on her.

^^^^ I'm just worried that its all going to come out the wrong way. That Lana is sh***** on Clark again (not that her motives may not be justified) about keeping secrets and lies.

I dont want them to use Clark as a scape goat for everything being wrong in Lana's life and by extension Lex.

Let both Lex and Lana move on and deal with their issues without it being all about Clark.

However, I will sit on the fence about this until the episode on Thursday. :)

Everything is all about Clark, ultimately.

And I'm just offering my reasoning for thinking that it's probably Clark that Lana is talking to in the commercial you mentioned. I certainly don't want to get into it any more than that.

Yeah, I know its always about Clark. However, there are other ways of doing that rather than resorting to the same old, same old.

Did I imply something else? Cause I didnt mean to. :csad:

If the secrets = Where Lex is and what happened to him and that's what Lana wants to know from Clark then I don't see any problem with that, like Serene said she probably cares more about Lex at this point, but it's not like she can do anything for him, Clark is the 1 who's gonna save Lex again.

I dont have a problem with her caring more about Lex, well I do but that's another topic. :woot: I just want to see Lana dealing with all of this in a way that doesnt have her moaning to Clark about keeping secrets.

Is there something wrong with that?

Well, I didn't see the new trailer, but based on what's been described, I'm cringing already. Assuming it's Clark - who else *could* it be - I'm gonna have my foam bricks ready. Every time Lana berates him about keeping secrets, I grind my teeth.

The writers seem to enjoy making her look dumb. I hate to use Chloe as a point of comparison, particularly since I know it's a sore subject, but Chloe admitted to having her suspicions about Clark before she caught him playing beach ball auto. Lana knows a lot more about Clark than Chloe did before Pariah. Lana's also witnessed bona fide aliens, been assaulted by them more than once, and has extremely specific information about where they're from, what harms them, and what they apparently have been trying to do. She knows Clark knew about Lex being possessed and that Clark might have to kill him, and she acquired a weapon to achieve that very task from Clark's MOTHER (huh?!) The absurdities involved with Lana NOT putting the pieces together at this point rival those of future ace reporter Lois Lane, who doesn't instantly recognize Clark Kent as Superman because he wears a pair of glasses. :ninja: :p

That's exactly how I feel. It just made me think of that scene at the end of Transference.

Enough already!!

Well taking all that into consideration that's why I would want to see very little Clark/Lana interaction (and from KK's interview she did say that she hasnt done alot of scenes with TW). So lets hope this is the last.

I want her to be spending more time with Lex and seeing WHO he really is rather than have her going over the same old, same old with Clark.

The next step for Clark and Lana's relationship is for Lana to start understanding the pressure that Clark is under, as we got a glimpse of in Zod.

I checked the spoilers for Sneeze again and this is what there is on Lana:

- Lana (Kristin Kreuk) moves in with Lex (Michael Rosenbaum, who believes someone is following him, which quickly proves to be true after he is kidnapped.

- In a warehouse lab, Block tries to give Lana some kind of serum, but Lex intervenes. (Apparently Lana may be abducted too). A fire starts.

- Lana calls Chloe for help; Block pulls a gun on her.

avid did you recognize the place? Was it Lex's mansion?

That was really the worst trailer ever. They could of shown clips ^ of that and it would have been better than what we saw.

blksuperman2 that wasn't the only trailer released, there are 2 more which didn't get online yet, + there's the director's cut on the CW website.

I agree, but I have no idea how they're going to make that happen and do it to a majority of viewer's satisfaction. Lana has witnessed Clark do extremely heroic things (Perry), so it's not like her seeing him put his life on the line *again* will mean much. The writers are setting up Lana's appreciation for who and what Clark is by contrasting him with Lex, and I'm not sure that's the most effective means to an end.

I dunno... My brain is fried on this issue. I'll wait till after the ep airs to comment further; we may be taking everything out of context. We shall see.

I was referring to the god awlful one that air'd right after Zod.

I know and that wasn't the only 1 released, so it's all good lol.

It did seem rather anticlimactic, didn't it?
But those director's clips they released on the CW site are the opposite. They showed *more* than I would have expected to see. Especially the actual superbreath in action.

Wait a minute. There's more than one director's clip?

It was dark, so it was a little hard to tell and as I said they only showed Lana's face and the arm of someone else, who I assumed was Clark. Judging by Lana's tone.

Could be taking it out of context but the whole set up just reminded me of Transference.

I'll say no more on the subject until the episode. :yay:

She meant Clark+Chloe scene + Green Arrow's scene.

Sorry.. my brain was thinking of both the SV and the SPN one. But there's only one clip from each show.
The SV one does show two different scenes though - Superbreath, and Disco Ollie. ;)

Oh, Ok, I thought I had missed something. Yeah the Superbreath was cool (pun intended).

I don't know what to make of Ollie Queen yet, though. I have a feeling that at sometime he's gonna pull out a Kryptonite arrow on Clark, just to show him he means business. If that happens.....................well.......................................:cmad:

I'm very curious about Ollie and what they are going to do with him. It sounds like he's going to be your basic spoiled rich boy who's somehow learned his lesson since his days of being a prep school bully.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Ollie and Lex interact for the first time. I mean think about it.. how would you react to seeing someone who teased and bullied you when you were kids? I'm betting they aren't going to be BFF's. :D

^ It should be interesting. Before the news of Arrow coming on the show, I knew very little about him. More and more I'm seeing alot of similarities to Batman. It seems that all of the Billionaires in the DC universe are either masked superheroes or manical evil geniuses.
