any thoughts on who this evil mastermind could be?

I reckon it could be Lucas Luthor. After all if he finds an incriminating secret of Lex's he could blackmail him into handing over LuthorCorp since Lex has control of it since season 4. And i don't really think Lex would have left it Lionel.

I also want to know how they are going to show Clark finding out about this new power. I mean with X-Ray he bumped his head, with Heat he thought about sex and with Whisper he got blinded. So what's going to happen to him to make him find this new power.

Yeah, i know but, i was sugesting what happens to him to make him sneeze and find this new power. I think that he should go to Lex's to give him his produce just as Lex is being kidnapped by Orlando Block. And he throws powdered kryptonite in his face. Clark falls to the floor.

And here is where he gets this amazing new power for you see when Kryptonians breathe in Kryptonite they get some sort of conjuctivitise. And Clark starts couching and sneezing and taht's when he starts to exibit this new power.

That's what we are all figuring, Steve DeKnight told us on this sight that we would see superbreath early in the season, and the title fits.

A cold or flue can make you sneeze... But allergies is probably the most common reason, I would think.

In Tom's case number 1
Michael number 4
Kristin 5

That's the number of the actor in the scene, I believe...

That's "cast", not "case", btw...

It looks like Lana is cast member #5, Tom is #1... it's all decoded at the top of the list, Michael is #4, etc.

I think it's just shorthand when to help them figure out who's in the scene...

It might be easier for the script supervisor and/or production manager to write down the actor's numbers rather than their names....

I know when I worked theatre we sorta did the same thing.

It doesn't take as long to write "1" as it does to write "Tom"....

Well, I just learned something new...I don't know much about how production in the media works, but I've learned much more since talking to you guys who know about this stuff.

#'s 2 and 3 are actors simply not in those scenes.

He probably meant that literally, as well as figuratively...

And if you're writing down 10 names, having digits instead of names would be a time saver.

The decoding ring is probably there at the top of the call sheet for people who don't normally work the show (guest stars, a freelance director, etc) so they can know who people are referring to...

Look at me, talking like I know what the hell I'm talking about.

I've never worked a film or TV set, I only know what makes sense to me from what the dude transcribed over on k-site combined with what I know we did when I worked in theatre with a large cast...

I'm ultimately guessing, but I believe it's a pretty good one.

What do you think that means? Why would Clark run out of super-speed? Any speculations?

He just slows down... I don't think it means anything more than that. I thought it was how they describe Clark speeding for the stunt/FX work, it's not how they describe it in the scripts.

I could be wrong, however...

^^^ The guy that posted the Call Sheet said what Triplet said, but Craig has put the spoiler up and he describes it as Clark running out of energy to do the superspeed.

However, if the guy who posted the call sheet said the same thing I did I think he's probably right. He watched the filming, so he knows what happened in the scene.

Yeah, he said they were using a high speed camera and that there was a base plate on the ground, which is TW's cue to stop, and then the normal camera takes over from that point.
