To the best of my knowledge, ChrisB has never flaunted the fact that he is SO WELL connected, nor that he has ACTUAL connections. So that argument/statement seems null and void to me.

Like him or not though, Jett has been quite a factor in helping get Batman back onto the big screen after the devastation of his last big screen outing back in 97. That much we should offer him a debt of gratitude for.
How so?

LMFAO at that Skyrim meme! How did it get as huge as it did?

Pretty sure Batman-News has only been around a year or so, not 2 years.

Ha, I didn't even find out about it until recently when I bought the game. I think so many of the NPCs repeat it to the point of unintentional hilarity.

Oh look, another Jett-discussion.. time to get in before the lock I guess hehe

Never said they do.

But for all his bluster ChrisB doesn't have anything to show for it. No set visits, no pre-screening of the Prologue...I thought he was "Your #1 Source for The Dark Knight Rises news, rumors, photos, & more."

I've got tons to show for it! In less than a year I overtook the massive BOF, which has been around for 13+ years. And I'm not just talking web traffic, I've got TONS more Facebook fans and Twitter followers too. The fact that so many people love what I do is what's most rewarding to me.

Celebrated 1 year this past September. It flew by!

Well deserved, too, but can we move past this discussion?

Wow it really did, I remember you taking suggestion and what on here, Congrats!

Can we add polls in the middle of threads? Is the plane hijack the most likely at this point based on all the rumors? It'd be cool to get a vote on what SHHers think is going to happen.

^ Seems to be the popular and most talked about possibility at the moment.

It seems like all the reports are confirming a hijack.

I'm fully convinced the plane hijack is the real deal. It all adds up to our spy pics and I cant think of any other scenario that equals what Zimmer said about it.

Zimmer commented on the opening sequence?

Constantly petitioning and lobbying for another Batflick throughout the years, giving the fans a place to congregate, be noticed, show and help push for it too.

It may seem like miniscule things in hindsight, but I feel they played a part in getting us to where we are now in regards to Batfilms.

Anyways, moving on...

Zimmer commented on the opening sequence?
Ah no, not Zimmer  Freeman I believe it was... I think... SOMEONE atleast said the beginning was going to be explosive and big and epic and a such.

Cant find the quote now tho... *running to batman-news to search the old archives* :cwink:

I believe it was Pfister, unless you mean recently in that case I have no idea either :oldrazz:

Wally Pfister?

“We’re going to try, man. Our goal is to shoot as much in IMAX as we can. We’re going to put in on the screen, and put it on the screen big. And I really encourage everyone to see it in IMAX if they can because we’re really going for it this time. In terms of the action, we are all scratching our heads right now trying to figure out how we’re going to do it; how we’re going to do it in the amount of time we’re going to do it in. The opening scene of the movie will blow your mind.”

ah yes, thats the one!

and here's Freemans quote

The most exciting thing about it is watching the openings, I’m telling you. Doing it, it’s fun to work with Chris Nolan. He’s really a terrific writer, a terrific director. One of those highlights of your career.
