"Congratulations, you got into the thread...what's the next part of your master plan?"

"Crashing this thread...with no survivors"

DESHAY BASARA, BASARA!

I hope there is a rap song made incorporating that chant.

lulz, what is that from?

I do the chant whenever I'm walking around and in a pissed off mood. Which, since I'm grading finals and still looking for a job, I am a lot. lol

"When this test school is ashes...then you have my permission to get an A"

LOL! I actually got to use TDK in a film class this semester. I told them all they needed to watch TDKR Prologue and trailer over break.

I agree with those saying that he was meant to be annoying. I thought he did a great job.

I mean, put yourself in that guy's head and you'll start enjoying the scene more. In his head he's probably thinking "Oh, I'm so gonna get these guys..." as he nods for the plane latch to be opened, etc. At first I thought he was kind of silly, but now I can't get enough of him being so full of himself when Bane is straight playing him.

yea cia *****e was awesome. he was better than prison break dude in tdk.

CIA *****e was also definitely better than SWAT Team Guy from TDK and the "she's gonna blow!" guy from BB.

After searching around the web I was able to see the prologue and 2nd trailer and while they are mostly taken by video cameras it was hard to understand Bane in the prologue but from the 2nd trailer here's what I managed to pick up on, it might not be accurate since the video was very shaky.

- a boy is singing the national anthem at the football stadium
- Alfred is saying to Bruce how he's broken his promise to Bruce's parents in looking after him
- Gordon about to make a speech at some event/charity (I'm just guessing)
- Bruce and Selina mingle at said event (maybe) this sort of reminded me back to Batman Returns
- a group of Arkham inmates enter somewhere (maybe the football stadium)
- the football stadium starts collapsing as a few players are running away from it
- quick shot of Joseph Gordon-Levitt looking intense
- Selina walking at a train station (or airport I don't know)
- Bruce asking some guy in the background "what's next?" and the guy saying "rise" (I'm thinking Bruce is injured at this point in the movie and having to rehabilitate)
- the new Batwing? cruising down the streets
- Bane saying "I give you permission to die"
- Batman surrounded by thugs possibly Bane's or the League Of Shadows
- familiar show of the Bat-logo on the crumbling buildings

I really can't wait to see that scene with Bruce and Alfred about the broken promise.

Same here. I've always loved the Bruce/Alfred scenes but it looks like this particular scene will be the most emotional out of all of them.

A 'Batman' bounce for 'Mission: Impossible'

Paramount Pictures' "Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol" got off to a strong start at the box office this weekend — but how much of that had to do with the teaser for "The Dark Knight Rises" that played before the movie?

The Christopher Nolan-directed Batman film, out this summer, is expected to be one of 2012's biggest box office draws — so hard-core fans might have rushed out to get an early glimpse of the Warner Bros.' superhero movie this weekend. Still, the teaser — dubbed a "prologue" — was playing on only about 40 of the 300 IMAX screens where "Mission" was playing this weekend, meaning it's unlikely the preview boosted the film's $13-million haul substantially.

"I'm sure people are interested in seeing the prologue," said Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros. "But I don't think you can attribute the prologue to pushing the entire gross. You can certainly attribute the prologue to pumping it up in a couple of locations, but it would be ludicrous to think the promotion of the prologue itself propelled 'Mission.'"

Greg Foster, chairman and president of IMAX Filmed Entertainment, said a 31% uptick in ticket sales from Friday to Saturday indicated there was "no doubt that 'Mission' is working."

Because Warner Bros.' new "Sherlock Holmes" movie was not booked into IMAX theaters this weekend, the studio could not offer the Batman prologue in front of a movie made by its own studio on the large format screens. A "Dark Knight" teaser did play, however, in front of "Sherlock" on 2-D screens.

The latest "Mission: Impossible" flick also launched in 36 foreign territories this weekend and raked in $68.2 million overseas. The picture was the top choice for moviegoers in South Korea, Japan, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, where the film had its premiere recently.
