Yeah really the more I think about it it's really weird anyone could view it like that. Why would bane tell him "yeah I'm a big guy- for you"? Lol.

CIA: "If I pull that off will you die?"

Bane: "It would be extremely painful."

CIA: "You're a big guy, you can handle it."

Bane: "It would be painful for YOU."

Without even hearing the last two lines I knew Bane was telling the CIA it would be painful for him. The audience knows this guy has no chance of getting that mask off Bane's head. It's just another example of him being in WAY over his head and he doesn't have a clue.

From what I've seen I like this prologue more than TDK's one. Maybe just because it's new. But Bane seems to be a real badass. And I really love his strange voice.

I love how Bane is so precise with what he's doing after he says that, he looks up, turns around, grabs the thing, puts it around the doctor. It's all so clean and nicely done, which compliments the music

I LOOOOOOVE that Bane took the Dr's blood so that his DNA would be splattered around in the wreckage, making the pigs think that he died in the crash but his body was trashed.

At least, I think thats why he did it. If so, thats so f**king smart.

You know I'm on the other end of the post; I thought it was more like

Bane: It would be extremely painful
CIA: You're a big guy (I doubt you could feel a slap to the face you're so damn big)
Bane: For you (meaning in comparison you're the size of a misinterpreted ben fan boys nit pick at)

Yeah, sometimes they're really the last people on earth you want to see (believe me, I've been there), but I guarantee you that there will be at least one time in your life where you'll want the cops there more than anybody else.

I'm with ya Dr. Who, which is why I was watching the prologue with a Dr. Evil face. It threw me off mainly due to the agent's acting combined with the given dialogue.

His, "You're a big guy!" line didn't sound to me like he was being sarcastic; the way it was delivered sounded to me like he was really in awe of Bane's size. Not to mention, I've never heard "guy" used in that sentence. It's usually, "You're a big boy...you can do it/handle it." when being used in a sarcastic/patronizing tone. "You're a big guy!", esp. how I heard it from that actor's lips, sounds like, "Damn, you're big!" That's exactly why this scene threw me for a loop, but after reading how it was meant to be interpreted on here, I get it. Seeings how 1/3 of the posters here were a little confused by the dialogue exchange, I wonder how many of the millions of the viewers will also be a little , esp. without knowing anything about Bane prior to seeing it.

Well I think for those unfamiliar with Bane they might not get the line and take it as 1/3 of the posters on here did. Maybe its one of those things where when you watch the movie a 2nd or 3rd time things sink in and when you hear certain lines or see certain scenes again your like Ahhhhhhhhhhh... ok, now I get it.

But come to think about it, since so many people are split on this line maybe it can be taken both ways? I don't think it effects the scene much if you take it either way but I think that if the dialogue is giving you a clue that if you take Banes mask off bad things will happen, then I think it makes more sense in that context as then the line gives Banes some character development and back ground into who he is and why he wears the mask.
