That's because Chris is the absolute TRUTH. Legit with a capital "L" ... no flaunting, no vague insinuations, no faulty information.

The Bat-movie informer we deserve ... ; )

It's a learning experience. Remember, I'm the one who told you that Tom Hardy was going to play Hugo Strange. I got that rumor 2 months after running the site though, it was a huge learning experience!

News that I've reported that I still stand by: Catwoman's backstory. And I'm really looking forward to posting the prologue description on Thursday night, I just hope no one else beats me to it!

That's not the point. You stood by the news you released. And you weren't UBER vague, to give yourself an out if you looked bad with faulty news. That takes actual guts, kid ... you gave fans the exact news you had recieved. You threw us a bone. I can't get mad at you for that, even if you were wrong.

ChrisB, is the prologue description you're getting to do with the press screening or has someone seen it even earlier?

If I find the opportunity to, you can count on this guy...got a great HD Flip camera.

But there'll be something up on the Tube most likely before the 16th.

I'd pay you if you managed to record a fairly decent quality prologue. :woot:

I'm joking though. Half. :2face:

I'm glad someone else is! What level of beauty has Wally Pfister reached this time?

If rumors are to be believed he's out done himself.

Definitely, with the trailer we'll be getting to see some beautiful shots and palettes through multiple portions of the film while with the prolouge we'll get to see the shot compostion and camera movement, it's all really exciting if you ask me :woot:

'Tis

The press screening is the 8th, his info his imminent on the 8th.

That being said, some people have already seen it. there were screenings for WB employees or whatever maybe...a month back? 3 weeks possibly.

I'm surprised there wasn't a rash of information after that. I thought the info I got at the time would be all over the internet at the time and it wasn't.

Hopefully the pallette continues trend wise to be an extension of the logo.

Batman Begins - natural earth tones, the elemental start of a legend ... burnt oranges, bronze, dirty and seedy

The Dark Knight - dark, steel colored blue hue ... the darkest portion of the chapter, the strong light crumbling the symbol Batman has created.

The Dark Knight Rises - so far with the logo ... blacks, greys and strong whites (dawn) ... the inverse of the TDK logo. Also takes place during winter so it represents death (end of legend) ... I also like the inclusion of military camo what with Bane and the Mercs

Most likely the press screening. Most sites like IGN, First Showing, /Film, etc. will probably have their full descriptions up the day after. As was the case with TDK's prologue screening.

ChrisB,

Kind of like this ...

:oldrazz:

Well the info has since come out. I didn't feel the need to reiterate something that was being said already and no one ever believes my info anyway until it happens and even then...

Its not that long a wait now.

Glad for the collective mindset of this place (especially Goku Goes Crazy :oldrazz: ) that Chris will have a description on Thursday. I turned down my chance to see it early.

Well you didn't say it when you got it. Then you claim it was the news you had after the fact. Very Jett-esque, of you.

:oldrazz:

Point still stands, ChrisB is the truth.

There's a good amount of snow stuff at night as well.
I really hope so. I understand Nolan bringing out Batman in day, but honestly I prefer the night shots. Even TDK was a bit too bright for me, but you can't please everyone.

I think Batman is just coming out for the finale, and/or one HUGE scene.

And I don't even think its "Batman" in the classic sense. It's an outted Bruce Wayne, rocking the costume as a symbol for the citizens of Gotham.

Really? TDK was a pretty dark film. The bright shots were very sterile, and jarring to me as a means to counter act the oppressive themes of the film. I mean even the scenes in broad day light ... there was an overwhelming sense of dread and danger the entire movie.

TDK was wayyy too bright for my taste. There were a LOT more dayshots in TDK, and when it came to the nightshots, it looked like a photoshoot was going down because everything was so brightly lit.

I did mention it here. It was consequently ignored.

Well a lot of L.A. was at night and I'm sure its possible they may have some sets that are built to look like outside.

If the big battle is in this context, could you guys imagine Batman saying a few inspiring words to the crowd...in his Bruce voice? My goodness.:wow:

Well the cops were cheering for something after the battle. :woot:
