I wouldn't think that we're going to be spoiled this month (December).

I would bet that these remaining 23 days before 2012 will bring us:

- The first theatrical poster
- The prologue
- The first theatrical trailer
- Maybe a picture or two (but I really doubt it)

That's kind of a lot for just 3 weeks. It doesn't seem to add up with the lack of anything we've really gotten this year. Nolan/WB seems to be doing a whole other thing this time around, as opposed to 2007.

In 2007, we freaking got EVERYTHING. Now, it seems the strategy is different.

yea - there was ALWAYS something going on back in 2007. Pretty much from Sept 07 on, there was constant puzzles, games, notes, etc. it was so insane.

Oh, man, it was WAY before September. We had **** going on in June and July, almost every week until we closed 2007. Comic-Con's scavenger hunt, the Joker pics, the ENDLESS viral marketing (Rory the Pumpkin), and so on and so on. It was exhausting.

This time around, I still feel like this movie isn't real.
Anyone know what I mean? Like, TDKR is just some group hallucination that we all conjured up together - like this is an elaborate role-playing for a movie that doesn't exist?

It still hasn't sunk in yet that this movie is happening.
Like, it's done filming. Every shot we'll see of the movie has already been filmed. The movie exists in a room somewhere in the world right now.
It just seems so abstract to me - as far as being something official.

Like, 11 months ago, nothing was filmed.
We just heard 11 months ago that Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy would be in this.
Like, we finally knew that it was indeed going to happen, after 3 years of constant uncertainty of whether Nolan would even return.
And now it already happened.
It's done.
Like . . . WTF, you know? lol

It pisses me off to see it end; once these things hit the net, EVERYONE is going to go nuts. "There's going to be a new Batman movie, already? No way!!!!" Where have the people been these days......

some CIA docs were released online, then either 1 person with 3-4 different screen names or 3-4 people coordinated a joint trolling wild goose chase in EPIC fashion that lasted for hours.

and then a couple of trolls starts giving "clues" which made no sense - but of course everyone around here started flipping out trying to figure out the clues. of course, it ended badly - but at least we still have these documents to gaze upon.
