Looks like not all IMAX M:I4 will have the prologue:

Found out last night there is no IMAX within driving distance that will have the Dark Knight Rises footage ahead of MI:4. :-(

I don't know of a list of IMAX theaters that specify 70mm or TDKR. Call your local theater to ask.

lol seems my post was overlooked due to a forum-tiff. It appears that people in the UK have 2 choices = Glasgow & Manchester.

I'm not too botherd about MI, I'll watch it for sure tho, at that cost. But not sure how much I'll even take in after being blown away by the prologue! So glad Manc has a real Imax, and its the biggest in the UK!

BFI IMAX Waterloo is likely to have it.

I contacted them and they told me "watch this space", which to me means they will have it but aren't allowed to officially confirm it just yet.

Aw nice, totally forgot about other cinema chains lol. On the Odeon site it states only Manc, was confused why not London too. Now I see why! Hope it works out for you man. I emailed Odeon about wether they would have it about a week ago and they went something like "we can't say yes or no...but keep looking " so looks promising for ya.

That's good. I'm expecting Bradford Media Museum (oldest, if not biggest UK IMAX) to show it too, but no news yet. They have M:I4 on Boxing Day but I think I've got other plans.

There are advanced screenings on the 21st thru til the 24th, at Odeon again, so maybe it'll spread to other places too. Hope the UK brahs get to see it earlier than boxing day, waiting 5days after the US guys is enough for me haha

One thing I'm curious to hear about when it comes to the prologue is how the Batsymbol will appear and what color scheme the WB logo will have.

Since we only got the rehashed TDK thing with the teaser.

I just called Regal Pointe in Orlando and the manager said they will have the footage before MI:4. It's only about 3 and half hours away. Im excited.

This site gives you a list of all the IMAX screens in the US. It has digital as well as 70mm listed. There is a guide at the top to tell you which one uses which. This is current as of 11/3/11 according to the site. Here are the codes:

1570: 15-perf, 70mm
1070: 10-perf, 70mm
8/70: 8-perf, 70mm
D: Digital

Yeah, but is it a dome IMAX? Or a standard full screen REAL IMAX theater? I'm calling them but I keep getting put on hold. I need to know all this info before I commit to driving 3 hours.

Everything you needed to know is right in the link above you. It's 70mm and a flat screen. So long as it's playing MI4, the prologue will be there.
