I'm actually disappointed. I was expecting at least one or two fake Bane prologues to pop out since Nolan's interview yesterday came out. I guess they were busy making that Ellen Page/Batgirl trailer manip. :oldrazz:

Dude, you gotta give them time to make something up. You need two days at least to invent some really good BS. ;)

As for the We Got This Covered description...the amount of detail makes me suspicious right from the off. And the whole thing reads more like it would be fifteen minutes, not six! :funny:

The only thing about the We Got This Covered prologue description that makes me wonder if it is true is the part about how Bane fights Batman in that secret passage way right after the events of TDK. From the teaser trailer we saw, it appears that batman is in serious pain, is having trouble breathing, and looks terrified of Bane as if its the first time he has seen him. Plus the fact that they filmed this scene EARLY in production (similar to the bank robbery in TDK) gives them plenty of time to prepare it for the December unveiling. Also, its been rumored to have a PG-13 rating and i think that showing Bane "break Bats back" would merit that rating. I mean, i have been on this site long enough to know that there is plenty of pranks and trolls that LIVE to feed us crap - but at the same time, there is always ONE description that everyone discredits until we all see it on the big screen and become believers. At this point, i am 25% confident that its legit and 75% skeptical. I would love to see the prologue as described though, i think it would definitely raise a few eyebrows and get tons of folks interested, if they weren't already.

[BLACKOUT]So instead of Batman passing the torch to Robin, he's gonna pass it to a random policeman with no training because Nolan doesnt wanna touch Robin in his movies?[/BLACKOUT] That doesnt seem right.

Bruce wanted honest fair cops. John Blake is a young cop who wants to do good. this is better for a Batman ending than a new kid who is obssesed

^ John Blake could be seen as an amalgamation of most of Bruce's apprentices in the comics, much like Rachel Dawes was in terms of filling the love interest position.

at this point, that is highly subjective and if it happens, i would be very surprised.

I wonder is the prologue is gonna be Bane Begins or an introduction to him in Gotham.

I'd prefer the latter. I don't want something that feels too much like a Bane origin, and I also don't really want something that copies the formula of the Bank Heist with Bane instead of Joker because I feel that would be redundant. What I'd like is something original for the prologue, a new opening.

I thought [BLACKOUT]John Blake dies[/BLACKOUT] in this movie.

Pfft, that's just one of many rumours reported that puffed out of thin air during shooting without really anthing to back it up. I'd take that with a pinch of salt. Bosef on the other hand seems like a very reliable source given his track record with First Class.

Our first best look at what he's got up his sleeve will be the six-minute prologue sequence in IMAX that is playing exclusively in front of the 70MM IMAX engagements of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol." The people who I've talked to who have seen the six-minute segment just smile at the mention of it, and I've been told to expect something on a much larger scale than the opening bank robbery from "The Dark Knight" which played in front of the IMAX prints of "I Am Legend." That's going to be the moment where we really get a sense of what tone to expect from this one, and I'm willing to bet it's going to be very different than either of the first two films.

Yes, that one and the one about Fox being killed are looking dubious to me.

Here's what I think the first six minutes will include (or something I think would be cool, at least):

The League of Shadows is taking down a corrupt government in a city (India shoot). Ninjas skydive from a plane and infiltrate a clifftop fortress. They take down the officials and then set explosives. After the fortress blows and the mission is a success, they find a young boy injured by the explosion / fire who has miraculously survived. Ra's Al Ghul decides to take him in and train him. This boy becomes Bane.

^ "Oh no" indeed, a fan description that involves the League got posted on this page. Send help, I think batbax is having a brain anuerysm!!!

Good thing he didn't use the word epic in his description. Or we'd have to put you in a straight jacket. Generalizations r teh funz.

Not really, considering I have nothing against the word epic. I just made a comparison to the overuse of "fear" in an earlier post, rather jokingly too. Try harder.

Ok. Fear then. Get teh ambulance dark**** having teh anurysm

No. Just found it funny you took the time to call me out on something so trivial. I thought this place was all about everyone having their opinions without being ridiculed. Ive seen you be pretty damn petty and nitpicky like a 90 year old woman about little aspects if these films. But I wouldn't berate you for it and tell you you were having an anuerysm.

I may be nitpicky at times about certain aspects of these films, but at least when I do so I keep my posts productive. You read someone's self-confessed fanfiction for the prologue, and immediately you despaired when you found a keyword involving the League in their post. I wasn't even ridiculing you for it, I was playing along and making humour out of the situation despite how in poor taste your post actually was anyway. Funny that.
