I'd crap myself if the prologue was the stadium scene.:o

Me too :cwink:

Well Wally did say it was mind blowing. :)

I don't think he was overhyping it either. I think he was being sincere. I think the football scene would be a pretty mindblowing opening. They've had plenty of time to add the effects as well.

That scene seems like it would be alot longer than 6-7 minutes though. Plus a scene like that would need some context. Seeing as major players are involved including that device. That scene will be best served for the film.

I aint giving up on this theory boys! Until we get some concrete evidence saying otherwise, it's the football scene! :awesome:

I honestly believe the Stadium scene will be Bane's public arrival in Gotham.

I think so too. I mean if he was already known to the public, you think they would have canceled the football game. I know I wouldn't go to a football game if I knew a guy like Bane was out there in Gotham. :awesome:

The fact that they are playing a football game, and the crowd is enjoying it, leads me to believe that Bane isn't known to the public. He obviously hasn't made his mark on Gotham yet, so this is him leaving his mark.

And what better to have as the opening scene then Bane introducing himself to Gotham.

About this torch passing thing... I don't think it will be to any character in particular. This torch passing thing will be most likely symbolic and possibly involves Gotham's own citizens and police force taking back their own city. Thus possibly these huge riot scenes in NY. The torch is most likely passed on to Gothamites themselves, who no longer need Batman to "shake them out of apathy" and protect their own city against evil.
Great post

As much as I would love to see the Heinz field scene be the prologue, for multiple reasons, I dont think it will be. Showing this in the prologue would be in a way the equivalent of using the Joker blowing up the hospital as the prologue for TDK, I really doubt that they expose the largest set piece of the film in the prologue.

Fixed :cwink:

All good points as to why it won't be the football scene.

But my mind remains unchanged. It WILL be the football scene. :D

Where is this new prologue description? I must've missed it.

Also, (take this with a grain of salt) I saw someone on IMDb posted a vague description of the prologue from their friend who saw it, that said:

I know that's vague and from IMDb, but I only posted it because it seems like a plausible description. Better than one showing Batman broken in the first six minutes...

Am I the only one who likes the description of Batman being broken in the first 6 minutes?

I had this posted in another thread but thought Id share my thoughts here as well, the whole 8 years later thing is what brought my mind back to the prologue where he is broken.

This really makes me believe the (maybe fake/maybe real prologue description) that was online awhile ago where Bane breaks Batman over his knee 7 minutes in. (Bale is on set with a cane maybe this is 8 years after healing?)

during Bruces recovery, Bane will live up to his word from the prologue description "I WILL NOT REST UNTIL THE CITY IS IN FLAMES AND EVERYONE YOU CARE ABOUT IS DEAD. and put Gordon in the hospital & take control of the streets somewhat like the Mutant leader from The Dark Knight Returns... eventually Selina will have had enough and step up to the plate as Catwoman while Bruce is recovering and give him the courage to return as Batman.

who knows but this is the way this news makes me see it.

This movie will be great.

I think I may have found an IMAX within two hours of me :awesome:.

Indiana State Museum:

http://www.imax.com/oo/imax-indiana...mpossible-ghost-protocol-the-imax-experience/

It doesn't say anything about the prologue, so I'll have to check with them.

Question: Will the prologue only be released during the midnight sneak-peak on December 16th, or will it be playing before all IMAX prints of Ghost Protocol when the movie officially opens on December 21st?

I still think the IMDB supposed prologue is fake given that the poster claimed the beginning of the film takes place right after TDK ends . I suspect if Bruce does get his back broken, it won't take him 8 years to recover. I think TDKR begins 8 years after TDK.

I'm positive it will be playing with the official December 21st showings as well. That would be lame if it was only being shown on December 16th, and it wouldn't help WB at all.

So yeah, if you are planning on going to a showing from December 21st onward, you should still be able to see it.

Thanks, Goku .

I'll probably just wait the five days and go on the 21st then. The midnight premiere wouldn't get out until two in the morning. Add the two-hour drive back to Cincinnati, and I'd be rolling into my driveway at 4 o'clock. That's a disaster waiting to happen - especially because I probably won't be able to find someone to go with.

aw thanks for watching out for my feelings, I know, I honestly don't know what to expect. BB & TDK blew my expectations so Im sure I won't be disappointed.
