Jason X (2001)
Jason Takes Manhattan... for five minutes at the end of the movie. Jason Goes to Hell... a damn lie. They were more than happy to go with such duplicitous titles in the past, but for some reason this one was above being called Jason in Space.
The first hour of this was unexpectedly boring — a one-star Syfy original film with Jason indelicately shoehorned into it. But the last 30 minutes? GOLD. Jason transforms into Uber Jason (Kane Hodder is credited as Jason/Uber Jason!!), and the resident dull-as-dishwater cyborg in a bad wig suddenly dons a leather fetish outfit and turns into a machine gun-toting, spin-kicking superwoman. It's incredible. It's cinema.
They should have just kept doing sequels like this. Jason in Vegas. Jason On a Submarine. Jason in WWII.10th of September:
