I like it, I gave it three stars. Manhattan not so much, but Jason Goes to Hell is really fun for what it is. I'm also a Freddy vs. Jason truther.

Pretty much standard, low budget B movie slasher fare and not nearly as interesting or engaging as the first two Butchers films. There's some decent practical effects in it with the kills but I didn't care for any of the characters or the performances.



This actually had some potential but it just kept reminding me of far superior films like The Blob 1988 and Slither. Brandon Routh is really likeable and endearing in this though and man did I love the nostalgic song choices but the over use of CGI and annoying stereotypical characters just brought it down quite a bit for me.

A decent found footage flick that's a bit of a slowburn at first but once it gets going it's pretty entertaining for the most part especially the last 20 minutes.

I do agree that Asylum has kind of ruined the waters for a lot of b-movies. But, the Tubi Trawl can reveal some gems.

The first one reminds me of a horror movie idea about a cult of murderous babysitters who worship some hell God and the art of babysitting is actually a ritual to appease them. So they have sex with their bfs, summon their friends, party only to sacrifice the child.
