Love the first one, love the 2nd one (despite effeminate performance from Edward Furlong), and hate/despise the 3rd one, which is nothing but a cheap remake of the 2nd one with a beautiful woman in the Robert Patrick role.

I love Robocop. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I still love it today. I own the trilogy pack from a few years ago. I also like the second one as well, while it lacks the human element of the first one, it still tried to emulate the first one. The less said about the third one the better, though I do kinda of like that gun attachment to his arm in that one. The tv series was even worse then part 3. Robocop: Prime Directives were also bad.

I Liked Robocop 1&2 very original I ll always remember that special moment. this robot with his countdown: you have 10 seconds to leave...At the time it was just crazy!

I love the first 2 films, T2 is my favorite, especially the special edition. I always get teary-eyed at the end when The Terminator says good-bye to John. "I now know why you cry, but its something I can never do." :csad: Its so heart breaking. The third one is crap. I am interested in the Sarah Connor Chronicles though. Also good is the books, T2: Influtraitor, T2: Rising Storm, and T2: The Future War, all by S.M. Stirling.

I really though it was over for Robocop but I when saw Transformers maybe with CGI there s a possibility to do an other one?

Colin and Greg definitely got the Predator look down and they have a great visual style. I hope they get the gig directing Predator 3, and I hope they get a solid 15 million budget increase from AVP:R. I would love to see Wolf "clean up" another mess (Perhaps in a prequel of sorts to AVP:R).

LMAO,the avp pred does look cute with the suprised look, and as a matter of fact the predators in avp look kinda fake

I'd be thrilled if they did another.

At this point though, after R3, I suspect they'd do a remake rather than an R4.

God, please not a remake. Leave this classic in peace.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is one of the best action movies of all time and one of my all time favorites. Love, love, love it.

The Terminator and T3 are both okay, but just not nearly as sweet.

There's a 3rd & 4th Alien? Wow....Unless you mean AVP & AVP:R.

have you been living under a rock???lol
Actually there was a story my best friend and I were working on for the possibility of an Alien 5...

The film, which we dubbed "Alien Planet" would focus on Ripley and Call from "Resurrection" finally journeying to the homeworld of the Xenomorphs, discovering that the creatures, while entirely organic, were actually instruments of biological warfare created by the space jockeys.

We'd also discover an alternate plane of time that surrounds the planet (we haven't flushed out the story yet to account for this, but with enough thought we'd make it work to help our ending)

The film would end with Ripley flying the Space Jokcey derelict off of the Alien Planet, sending a distress signal warning other ships to stay away while she crashes the ship...

...into LV-426...

The film would end with the Nostromo recieving the signal, and thus setting up a circular storyline, and give closure to Ripley's character.

sO when they go to the alien planet they go bakc in time when they crash it?? so it's starts at alien and alien 5 goes back in time??

IDK...as much as I enjoyed RZ's Halloween they didn't leave that one alone...

Robocop, Halloween and Batman are my personal three favorite franchises. I'd give anything to see Murphy on the big screen again.

But I'd have to agree; Robocop was perfection and should be left alone.

I love the ALIEN Trilogy! My favorite is Alien 3. I know alot of people hate it but I love it, especially the Assembly Cut on the Quad set. I hope that someday David Fincher will make a director's cut. I agree with others that Alien 3 was the perfect way to end the series with Ripley's death and (as far as we know) extermination of the Xenomorphs. Resurrection, aside from a few scenes is really bad. Its like watching a parody. The movie had some interesting ideas, but was executed poorly.

Like I said, we haven't really flushed out the concept.

But there would this sort of altenate plane...you pass through it and time is obstructed for some reason.

But we wanted this because we felt it would be a cool idea to make the 5 films circular.

It's also like our personal take on the possibility of "Terminator 4."

For our T4, we'd want to end it with John sending Reese back to 1984, giving the series a bookend...and also keeping Mostow or any other hacks from f**king with it anymore.

The only reason i hadn't hated a Halloween remake from the start was because that franchise had hit very rock bottom and needed something to revive it. Robocop was on its way and thankfully it stopped before it was entirely to late. So at this point i think it should be left alone as far as remakes are concerned.

CFE, did u posted your idea for "Alien Planet" at Alien Experience.com? I remember reading about it there and even seeing some sketches.

The Predator's in AVP were atrocious.

Agreed. I hated how the Predator decided to let her tag along. A true Predator would've killed that 1 dimensional b*tch :cmad:

Though making weapons out of the Xenomorph itself was interesting.

Keep Nick Stahl away from it aswell. Man i hated him as John Connor.

I'm sure this belongs in The Terminator thread but anyway..

Anyone ever read the comic mini-series called Nuclear Twilight?

It deals with the events leading up to the first Terminator, It's not the greatest in terms of writing. But its the direction i would take the franchise if it must continue.

Oh wait...no that's not me. I posted it in another Alien message board, but not there.

It DOES go to show you that fans want the films to FINALLY get to the Xenomorph homeworld though. We're all obviously thinking on the same page :D
