9/11- An insurance scam?

kinda on/off topic...but conspiracy theories aside....how has bush not been impeached when ..the reasons for going to war with iraq have been proven false..and more importantly bush is no longer even worried about the man the "war on terror" was started to capture (bin laden) but the war keeps going....while clinton just cheated on his wife and was put on trial and impeached for it? i seriously don't understand the logic.

Nice but sad that the US government somehow failed to stop them from entering. Yet give a bs explanation thats not possible to believe.

It's politics, it's not meant to make sense

Kind of sad you say what Colbert and O Reilly say. Can't think of anything yourself?

Dude I'm doing a pop culture reference, back off. Besides, it was all Colbert, not O Reilly. Colbert is awesome, O Reilly is an A hole.

You know, they should make little black boxes out of the same material as terrorists' passports, since they somehow managed to survive intact while the little black boxes didn't.

O'Reilly talks about zones too.

What is it made of because it seems wierd that only the terrorists seem to have this material?

Like conspiracy theories, paranormal phenomena and secret societies, politics also works using "meta-logic" that keeps "rational" people out of the loop. ;)

yeah, but Colbert is a O'Reilly parody, so so refering to zones in humorous way (Colbert), not a serious way (O'Rielly).

Adamantium fiber. Only Allah makes it.

I know that, still its seems that more and more people can only come back with something from Colbert.

If you can't appreciate a good pop culture, you are a very dull boy.

I apprecaite it and I watch the Colbert report. I just don't use it when I talk.

Well i do, that's how I roll. I also constant Simpsons and Sienfeld references, much to annoyance of my own family.

Yes but I started to see it as not the best thing to do to quote it so much.

Back on track. Larry Silverstein and his business partners are a bunch of scumbags who profited immensely from 9/11, having foreknowledge of what was going to happen and even taking part in it.

Oh, PLEASE! Stop calling what happened on 9/11 a "tragedy" over and over again, as if it's a sacrilege to talk about conspiracy theories surrounding that infamous day.

Yes, it was a "tragedy" for the people who died and those who knew them, their friends and families and so forth, but the world desperately NEEDS to get over itself, to get over it's initial trauma and start looking at the facts objectively.

9/11 WAS a scam, because people knew about it ahead of time and did nothing because it suited their personal interests, while others made it happen secretly and blamed others afterwards, the usual bunch of scary foreigners from overseas, and they ALL profited vastly from these terrible events.

And need I remind you that the "official" version of the story is a conspiracy theory as well, but since it's the government's version people in general simply say "Well, it must be the truth, our dear elected leaders wouldn't LIE to us, would they? They wouldn't exploit us like this, would they?", while independent investigators are riduculed by the voluntarily ignorant masses merely out of blind faith.

God bless America, I suppose.

Wow...damn. TheSumofGod, calm down. All I said was...

Wow. I can honestly say I never expected to see that name mentioned again, let alone in a thread calling the 9/11 tragedy a scam.

You didn't need to take that as me totally supporting the government and everything they said, or take the time to single me out like that. Your allowed to believe what you want, but I'll be damned before I let someone jump on me like that for no good reason. I wasn't even going to reply in this thread before I saw the name I quoted. I totally didn't expect to be attacked because I called a tragedy what it was. You admitted this to: It was a tragedy to those people that died and those that knew them.

As for 9/11 being a scam, I don't believe in holograms of airplanes and other such non-sense. Sure, the government didn't react as they should have, fine, you're correct with that. You're also allowed to believe those were holograms of airplanes. Just don't jump on me when I'm not saying anything to you or even remotely about you.

1. Bush hasn't been impeached because it hasn't been proven that he committed a crime. Despite the rumors that Bush lied to us, that he falsified evidence, etc., it could very well be possible that we used rather faulty intelligence. And no longer thinking about getting bin Laden is not a crime. You have to be proven of commiting a crime in order to get impeached.

2. Do you really think that a Republican controlled Congress would impeach a President that is of their own party? If the Democrats controlled Congress, Bill Clinton certainly would not have been impeached.

3. Bill Clinton committed perjury (lying under oath) and obstruction of justice which are crimes, hence why he was impeached.

Yes. I was, (Well, techincally still am) a DeMolay. A fraternity(not at all like the college fraternities that most people think of) that teaches the ideals of living a good life, and took the name of the martyr.
