I just hope when Vol. 3 and 4 comes out, they stack them with some great extras they couldn't get onto these vols.

Maybe they are waiting to see how well these dvds sell and didn't load them with a lot of extras.

There won't be any extras Disney hates extras. As do most big companys like them. They think its a waste of money.

omg, i I think it has like restored soundtrack or something. On "night of the sentinals part 2", when Cyke and Wolvie are in the poolhall, you can clearly hear an much louder song playing in the background. Also in "deadly reunions", after the x-men fight Magneto and are relaxing, Cyclops has extra dialogue! "mmmm, that's good"(after sipping coffee). I'm pretty sure he didn't say that in any of the reruns of that episode.

Anybody else noticing stuff like this?

They where running out of copies too, hopefully its a sign of these bad boys going quickly from the fans.

Same here, Target only had like 2 more copies an I was there half hour after they opened. I hope this tells Disney to release the Spider-Man Animated Series after they see how well of a response this gets

My Best Buy only had two copies on the shelf when I was in there around 11 am.

That being said, it looked like it didn't have much shelf space for itself to start with, so for all I know I could have been the second person that day to buy a copy.

I wish I could pick them up today but I don't have a ride...and I just went to Wal-Mart yesterday.

I looked to see if Barnes and Noble had them and they're sold out of volume 1 where I am! Looks like they're going like hotcakes. Awesome.

Looks like I'll have to just buy them on Amazon. Ah, well. Be nice to buy them in the store, but that's not happening today.

Anyone compare the DVD versions with the other versions out there? Which ones are on the DVD's?

Damn I thought it was just me. My Best Buy was sold out so I had to drive to Target and they only had two copies left. Watched a couple of the first few episodes, god this brings back memories. I loved how the writers portrayed Wolverine in the first season - not listening to orders, punching Cyclops, trying to kill Sabretooth while he's sleeping, thinking about killing Cyclops because he wanted Jean, he was wild on the first season. I remember the first time seeing the series when I was 16 and to me Wolverine seemed like such a wild card and unpredictable because you didn't really know what he was going to say or do next. This series is long over due to be out on DVD. When does vol3 and vol4 come out?

Just picked these up yesterday. They look great on the LCD! Picture & sound quality are excellent for a show from over 10 years ago.

My only complaint is no extras. Maybe on Vol. 3 & 4.

Here's to hoping they release Spider-Man and Iron Man TAS on DVD.

soundtrack seems more detailed and the dialogue and music seem to be restored to the original broadcast(in a good way). I also think that they used the original Storm voice version of Season 1.
