World 90's X-men Animated Series finally being released on DVD!

^^ Interesting. Also, lol, I'm glad you noticed that I meant 3 instead of 2, lol.
Ha yea I know you did, I just thought Id correct ya within the answer an let it be. Didn't wanna come off like an ass with my reply:oldrazz:

In the middle of watching VOl. 2, and let me say, not seeing some of these episodes in a long time.

Time Fugitives (Part 2) is one hell of an episode. Really great stuff, so much story and action, surprised it was only a half hour episode they got all that stuff into.

OMG I have no idea until today. I have them on DVD already that I got from a friend who loves torrents lol.

But I want these, the covers, the graphics on the dvd. Im going to get these!

Its a good show, but honestly its a disappointing release. The job Disney did here was pitiful. No re-mastering. The video quality is AWFUL. It looks almost bootlegged.

Its obvious Disney didn't care much at all since it took this long to come out with these. I'm just glad to have them in there original shape an in a normal no extras dvd then not at all. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Spider-Man to come out.

My quality looks great, i dont know what dvds you guys got. -_-

Given how badly Disney treated DVD releases of their own cartoon shows (DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, etc), it should come as no surprise that they'd half ass a DVD release of X-Men.

I have the region 2 versions and it was shown how the show was remastered for DVD. The difference is astounding but I have to say I didn't notice when watching the episodes themselves.

^_^ Got my dvd monday and my dad and bro actually watched a couple episodes with me. (Mostly because I was hogging the tv, but it was nice just the same.)

I think I sat there and watched about 4 or 5 eppy's straight. Crazy.

Usually I don't notice the surround sound or whatever on dvd's, but the sound comes in really clear on these, color too.

Can't wait to get volume 2.

Any news on Disney planning future volumes? Preferrably for Spidey?

Please, please, please...

finally got my sets

obvious out of the way-the transfer sucks. This is the kind of video quality I would've expected with the Night of the Sentinals VHS I got from Pizza Hut a decade and a half ago.(god I feel old)

It boggles the mind(do people still say boggle?), that Disney, who put so much work into remastering their animated films, couldn't give a damn about the tv shows they own.

But fortunately the quality of the show overcomes this, and after the dissapointment of Wolverine, it's nice to see these characters as they should be.

BTW, favorite line: "Tell Cyclops, I made him a convertable."

omg I had those VHS tapes to! Had the Sentinels one and the one with Enter Mags & Deadly Reunions. God I feel old now......

Thats disney for ya. They put more effort in those ****** direct to dvd sequels than this.

Eh Wolverine is overrated. Seeing Cyke pwn Sinister was worth it for me.

One of my favorite line from Night of the Sentinels is Rouge

"You're more nervous than a nine tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs"

I dunno why I like so much. It may be the way she says it or something

I love that one too. The show had a lot of great one-liners.
My favorite line is Gambit in "Days of Future Past" Part 2 in the beginning when Rogue was driving that jeep with Gambit along side her an she flies off. I crack up every time when Gambit says "Don't worry Rogue, I park Da car" :funny:
The way Gambit says it is what makes it so great. Also I do love when he shows up with to the war room an says something along the lines of "Nobody panic, Gambit is here..."

well i that's not surprising, considering disney only cares about musicals, and movies staring talking mice.

edit- plus they probably think the shows to "violent" and "dark" for it to make any money. idk, I just think disney is losing touch w/ todays audiances (not canting the 7 and under crowd) but it's ok, that's what pixar(aka, disney 2.0) is for.

To be honest that line doesn't make sense anymore. Disney obviously puts more care into its OWN product, because they know they will see more of a profit from those DV-DVD movies then anything else.

I really have no idea what problems you people having, maybe you need to update your TV's or get a better DVD player, or one that converts to HD.

Cause thats what i have and the image quality looks awesome.:word:

that's what i meant by musicals and talking mice. because that's mostly what disney does. (aside from calibrations w/ other studios. like pixar, walden media, and the company the did pirates and national treasure w/)

gambit arrives at senator kelly's office
sees mystique as gambit

Gambit: Surprised to see me ? I know i am :word:

i always wondered why sum episodes were drawn really well like with the Savage Land Mr Sinister episodes or Juggernauts 1st episode and then others it was bleh very sloppy.. and they were always drawing wolveries claws different sumtimes they looked really spot on cool blades.. others like metal tooth picks.. lol.. all in all this was a really good series and stood true to alot of the comic story lines.. i may pick this up as well.. how many volumes are there all together and did the series end, wat was the last episode?

i heard they had to rush the animation to meat deadlines. who knows, w/ a lil more time, this show mite have had the best animation in all the 90's.

yea who knows cuz alot of the episodes were drawn really nice but ugh! i hated that inconsistancy.. especially if its like a part 2 or sumthin where part 1 was drawn nice with detail and nice shadowing and then part 2 is all crappy so yea you can def tell it was rushed.. i hate when they do that with comic series too... because sum comic artists cant draw all that well (imo) idk how they land jobs at Marvel lmao
