A break from the movies

No doubt they will need a break. But they also understand the old addage of strike while the iron is hot

They want to absorb as much money from this as they can. I expect to be flooded with more merchandise then I can throw my VISA at.

The original live action was terrible,Stan Lee hated it, I was too young to know any better and loved it. If they can pull it off like Smallville they have a money maker like never seen before and they know it.

Some fans will hate it and some fans will like it, much like the movie themselves.

A good live action Spidey show = Impossible

A good, new Spidey cartoon = Desperately wanted

exactly.

lmfao.

this is one of the worst ideas i've ever heard.

I actually like the idea of a show about Peter in college (Smallville-esque but a little less Dawson's Creek) where he does bounce around from the reliable Gwen to the feisty rehead MJ and the adventurous but untrustworthy Hardy (after the first season she could become the Black Cat and they have an affair...etc.) and Conners could be building to the Lizard in it and Harry could be there with his father looking in from time to time (though it would reek of the Lionel/Lex relationship in Smallville, but who is ripping off who).

But the problem will come down to Spider-Man effects where if it can reach Lois & Clark passiability it will work, but that means less swinging (more landings and take offs) and some fighting that relies on acrobats instead of CGI. It could end up looking really dodgy...a la the Blade TV series.

But wait why am I worrie,d it could be just like this!:

.....

Yeah....maybe the idea of an animated series picking up right after will work as the '90s Animated show pretty much captured the comics (well in the first 2 1/2 seasons anyways, minus Gwen).

spiderman 3 section, go to beyond the films section!

i think they should quit all spider-man mediums (movies, comics, cartoons) and only do radio show story telling segments like "The Shadow!" back in the day :o
