Superman Returns A chance of over kill?

Yeah i know..i was saying we were not seeing enough..and now we have alot in a very short ammount of time..

Do you think there is a chance of over kill? the fact we have seen quite alot of what is to come..the stabbing the love triangle,new krypton.. etc..


We have seen so much of the plane scene as well.

I think we will get a better idea with how Superman might do when X3 comes out. I say that because if you want Over Kill look at how much has been shown from X3 Pretty much the entire Movie has been shown at this point aside from the last 10 Minutes. These Two will be compared in ways like this

For some people, sure. Not for me though. I read the whole Batman Begins script months before release and I still loved the movie to death.

I don't think there will be overexposure for the general audience. Remember that most folks aren't as keyed into all of the trailers like members of the Hype. Chances are, though, WB will be able to generate a lot of revenue by doing a mad dash marketing blitz that just takes over the airwaves leading up to release (ala Spider-man). Besides, we're only seeing a minute fraction of what will end up on screen anyway. The film is over two hours and we've seen a total of maybe five to ten minutes (being generous) through various trailers and clips. We really do need everyone not living in a cave to know about this movie (even then WB should post flyers in those caves or something). I want to it be successful so that the sequel is more than secure.

My only hope is that they don't show all the 'cool' bits before the movie is released, by the looks of it, Supes throwing NK into space and the shirt rips are the only things they have not touched on.

From a scene that is supposedly 25 minutes ong, I'd say we've seen very little of the plane sequence, Robo. Plus, think about it, we haven't even seen what happens to the shuttle portion.

Also, we've seen virtiually nothing o the climax, the love story, Richard White, and waht the heck Superamn does (I know) to save the world.

I don't think it's overkill Robo. As far as I can remember, the plane sequence is 20 minutes long. Not sure if that is still a fact, but if it's the case, then we haven't seen anything.

SR is a long movie, and I have the feeling we've only seen a few tiny slices of it.

it is over kill to us ******** sitting at are computers day in day out... we have controll of what we wanna see..... but yes the film is aimed at us ********, and we sit here watching every possible thing we can....

but it is also for the average movie goer.... and they will all ony see the THEATRICAL trailer one or twise until the release..... they will see the TV SPOTS 3-4 times a week..... until opening when the TV spots will be played 10 times a day on telly.... so the average movies goer see what he is meant ot see

The movie is probably going to be anywhere from 2 Hours and 15 Minutes to 2 Hours and 35 Minutes. We aren't really seeing that much from the teaser, trailer, and TV Spots. Most of it is just rehash of footage we have seen or heard about.
