That ending with a clone isn't real. Its fake.
Taskmaster. And Bullseye. Basically, any rival mercenaries.I think it's entirely possible for a DEADPOOL film to work. The cancer thing, after all he's been through, could easily be a comedic element as well as a serious one. His mouth is open now, he can grow back, and his face is messed up, and isn't his face always messed up? He'll be wearing a mask most likely, since that's his iconic image. And, forgive my ignorance, but who would be Deadpool's "villain"?
There are 3 alternate endings that either indicate a sequel to Wolverine or a Deadpool spinoff. The third alernate ending had Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) appearing on screen (scarred and wearing a black trenchcoat) picking up Weapon XI's head saying, "Who the hell are you". It is made to appear that Weapon XI's body was cloned from Wade, which is an ok explantion but it really sounds like this was Fox trying desperatly to save the character in order to make a Deadpool spin-off once the workprint was released. I'm cool w/ a Deadpool movie if its based off this ending. Stryker could have killed Wade but as we all know you can't kill the Merc w/ a mouth
Bullseye would be cool. There are alot of possible adversaries.
Reynolds mentioned wanting Black Tom which means they could have Syren be the love interest. Story wise that may be a good route.
Domino,Cable,Taskmaster,Typhoid Marie,Black Tom, Outlaw,Killbrew,Ajax and Bullseye could all find a place in the movie. Not all of them in the same movie just mentioning some options.
I know everyone would want Cable to show up in another movie first but its going to be awhile before that happens.I dont see the harm with introducing him in a Deadpool flick.
see this is also one f my problems with the idea of a Deadpool movie cause he interacts with so much of the Marvel Universe. That would bug me even more if Fox made it and got film rights for all of those characters. I mean if they could do things right in the first place it wouldn't bug me so much but they can't... how many super hero movies has Fox effed up? a lot. you can argue that they first 2 x-men movies were good(which i disagree with) but thats it.
The only X film I thought was well made was X2 and its nowhere near my favorite comic flicks. All the others dissapointed me at some level. I still think X1 is the worst.
So your problem is with Fox not Deadpool?
They wont add all those characters. Hopefully they will just use the ones that work with the script. Deadpool should be more of a staright forward action/comedy so I am really interested in seeing how the works. I dont want to see a Deadpool movie that in tone feels like an X men movie. Fox is gonna make these films no matter what. So hopefully they just make an entertaining movie for once.
its not a multiverse it's just a universe. It would be so much better if Marvel could get their hands on the rights again, because then they could do whatever the heck they wanted with Deadpool. Seeing as they're going to great lengths to establish a live-action multiverse, it would be cool if Deadpool could be part of it.
My problem is with both. If I see Deadpool I want Deadpool. I want to see him do everything he does in the comics. I want to see him make fun of Harry Osborn's crazy hair and all types of things like that. the best place for Deadpool not on the comics would be a cartoon.
Is it a fractured narrative, does it take place in the present, future and past I feel like thats the way to do a Deadpool movie, Reynolds described. You definitely have to break the fourth wall and you have to find a way to make that make sense, which is no small feat. So it would involve a really talented writer, an amazing visionary director and I think a great collaboration between everybody passionate about this character.
Ive made no secret about my desire to do a Deadpool movie, but if youre going to do it, it would have to be 100% faithful to its origins, explained the actor. To stay as true to the source material as possible is the only way to do it, and I say that because theres nothing more interesting than the source material for Deadpool. Theres no reason to deviate from that.
They should do a Spinoff of Deadpool, starring Ryan Reynolds (spelling?)
but have it have absolutely NOTHING to do with the Wolverine movie.
Even have Deadpool break the fourth wall, and make jokes about that movie version.
Or, option B,
Have what happened to him in the Wolverine movie be the traumatic event that shattered him mentally. He regenerates, now all scarred up and only having regenerative powers, and his incredible fighting skills.
Or, option C,
He returns, and it is discovered that the body wasn't even him. It was some other body. A clone or something. Not Wade.
Nice. Hope there'll be some breaking of the 4th wall going on. And don't say it can't be done... just watch Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... that flick did it brilliantly.
Why not get the director and writer of that for this. I love that movie
