I agree 110%! A meteor or something is the way to go... The moon is just too weak! It even sounds LAME when you think about it... It comes from the moon!! wow, that's so cool....NOT!

It is pretty much the same as the 90's cartoon, except wasn't it a meteor JJJ's son went to? I have the series on DVD but I don't feel like watching it again. Although I miss the Aunt Carnage rumors IMDB started. I still think they should throw that one in as a nighmare

The trailer description on Movie Trailers on Demand states:

"A specimen from the moon gives Spider-man new powers and a black suit, while spiderman must battle the second green goblin, Sandman, Venom and other dangers. "

Not sure if this has been posted before but it gives you origin of Venom the fact that Harry IS the SECOND green goblin, the fact that Spider-man has NEW POWERS and that there are other dangers. (4th villian).

What are the new powers? Many assume the only new power Spidey gets is enhanced (more so) strength.

I guess Jonah's son brings back the specimen.

everyone knows the suit gives him the ability to be anyone he wants in an instant. and he can have multiple pockets to store stuff in, and more strength, so he's almost invinsible.

now i disagree with Harry being the Green Goblin 2. Sam said he wasn't going to give him that name right now, and that he was going to leave him as Harry Osborn.

then the thing about Spidey getting the suit from John Jameson who brings it back frm the moon is a bunch of crap. i've gotten things from a BUNCH of trustworthy websites that say that a meateor is going to fall in the movie. and Spidey tries to stop it and gives it a small landing, and then the symbiote follows Parker until he's asleep in his apartment.

this info came from some Q&A guy... this was written like in Febuary... and everything he's said (that has been shown later) has actually come true, so because of that i trust him.

like for instance i told everyone what the Harry suit would look like and it looks JUST like that in the Teaser. then there's the info he gave out about the story line and it fits PERFECTLY with the teaser, and the comic-con trailer. personally, I think this guy has a copy of the current script or something.

Meh, on this case I'd rather they stick true to the John Jameson story line and have it come from the moon. It would be cool to see Jameson find it and then slowly start to see it come to life as the shuttle approaches Earth.
