Actually, come to think of it, if she was 6 years younger and didn't have a gazillion white trash tattoo's, Charisma Carpenter would have made a good Lois Lane.
See now youve lost me, Charisma sucks.

The thing about casting Lois Lane is that there are so many better options out there than Kate Bosworth and even the biggest supporters of SR and Singer can't really argue that. Bosworth would actually be better suited to play Lana Lang, not Lois. Hell, she only got the part because Spacey suggested her and Kevin is good friends with Singer
There were better choices than Bosworth, then again, there were way better choices than Kidder the hag too. The mysogenist male in me is at least happy that Kate's Lois looks pretty on screen (even though Kate doesnt look that great in real life right now), she looked good on screen and has some potential.
Her Lois is more subdued, I agree.. but thats kinda what I prefer. I hated how loud and annoying Kidder was and I always wanted to see a more feminine, softer Lois to contrast the manliness of the MOS.
To be honest, I really dont want this Lois to change into the way shes traditionally acted in live versions. I just realized I hated all those Lois performances. Its usually hard to love Lois, to care about her, to feel her emotions, because shes usually so hard-nosed and boyish.... a more feminine, softer Lois isnt bad within the context of this film.
I actually would have got annoyed if she started doing Lana-fu and kicking butt...
Well thats all I wanted from Lois, what Kate gave was fine. This film was about Superman for me and his casting was the most crucial ever. Brandon was great.
