Look at it this way: Wanda and Pietro are supposed to be twins. Even though real-life twins can obviously have differing hair colors (or at least just dye them), the majority have identical hair colors. It would make more sense to general audiences for twins to share the same hair color.

But put me in the camp with the folks who theorize that the "speed force" (yeah, I know that's DC, but whatev) could cause some funky aging processes within Pietro's body, leading to the traditional silver hair by movie's end.

....no goatee.

Yeah, comic-book Pietro is clean-shaven, but I really dig the old-school goatee ATJ has sported of late. Makes him look more distinguished, more European, and more of someone straight out of a bygone era, just like Wanda's gypsy look.

I'm also wondering if his hair might become silver over the course of the film, and be completely so at the end. Perhaps as a side-effect of using his powers much more than he has in the past or something like that? Also, those look like Ultron drones that QS is plowing through. I think that they may be to this movie what the Chitauri were to the first movie (mindless cannon fodder that give the Avengers a chance to cut loose and show off their powers/abilities).

It's not about being young, it's about looking young. With the goatee Aaron looks like a straight up adult, without it he can pull off teenager/young adult.

I really hope they dont have an Ultron army. If they need additional robots for the avengers to battle and destroy Im ok if maybe he creates a trio of some wicked bots with different strengths kind of like Zod had his minions. But to have countless drones would be too similar to Avengers.

And a select group of them would be too similar to Man of Steel. The Ultron Army is kind of Ultron's thing. Besides we've got NINE Avengers this time, an War Machine apparently. They ALL need stuff to do or things to fight.

ATJ was at the Captain America: The Winter Soldier premiere last night. He looked quite dashing. I wonder whether he'll have a blond wig when he plays Pietro, though.

Funny, when I saw this i was wondering if he'd have this in the film or if he would cut it, since it was so close to filming. Judging from the concept art he'll have this stubble in the film.

As for the hair, I don't really care. They probably tried it out in costume testing and it probably looked silly. At least Pietro looks a lot more like his comic book counterpart minus the hair color than Fox!Quicksilver.

I would like ATJ to keep the hair and beard he has in this picture for the movie. He would make Quicksilver more handsome. When he is a prick people would think of him as a younger version of Tony Stark.

Makes sense. I thought they might do something like that to justify the white hair. This way he's not just born with it like a weirdo. Plus, in the comics his hair is white as a result of his mutation. Since he isn't a mutant here they have to give a different reason for why he has white hair if they're going to do it and keep it grounded.

It's cannon fodder, sure; but GA won't have any trouble distinguishing between the different varieties --- alien invaders, killer robots, battlesuit drones, HYDRA mercenaries, armed terrorists, and Lv 2 Dark Elf Warriors.
