So, was I the only one who thought at the end of the winter soldier it looked like Pietro didn't have full control of his powers? He looked like he was struggling with them so maybe that's the journey we will see him take in avengers 2 before finally opening up on Ultron and his goons?

Quicksilver will be more of a BIG TIME player once the Inhumans are out and the rights to X-men goes back to MS. He's an integral part for the Mutants in the aftermaths of major crossovers / events i.e House of M, etc. The Terrigen Mist in particular.

Over in the Captain America forum a couple of people objected when the discussion turned to Cap's sex life or lack thereof. They thought it was weird and creepy to talk about a fictional character's relationships. Good thing they're not reading this thread because the discussion here has crossed the line into freakish Woody Allen territory. But since it's real people and not superheroes under discussion I guess it's okay.

Because the wife is significantly older than ATJ and the daughter is only 6 years younger. And people would naturally assume if they saw ATJ out with the two of them that the one closer to him in age is the wife rather than the step daughter.

I wasn't going to say anything about this… but MTE!! Fictional characters' love lives are freaky for some, but talking about an actor's marriage to an older woman and making jokes that he'd hook up with his wife's daughter is okay? Yep! Oh, Hype!

Still super excited to see what ATJ will bring to AoU and his version of Quicksilver. I want him to be an a-hole, as that's kind of how I've always seen him. I just don't see that in Peter's version, but maybe in the context of DoFP he'll surprise me.

Joss' Quick will be the definitive version. He just writes characters better than anyone doing super heroes right now imo. Singer probably has QS doing some cool speed shots, but the actual role wont be as good.

I admit I need to see Peters' in context… but it came off more immature brat to me than a-hole. Then again, Singer *is* responsible for bringing Nightcrawler to life and making me absolutely fall in love with him, so I hope he can do the same with Quickie

That's probably true. Peters' version has shown a-hole traits but more immature a-hole than veteran a-hole. Whedon knows these characters and I'm sure he'll want to showcase this a-holishness along the way and I think ATJ can do a good job with it.

That aspect of QS' super fast thinking/ADD will be very cool to see portrayed by ATJ. Also hope to see some of his A-hole *****e attitude show up towards Tony & Co. Itll make me laugh.
