I think it's worth at least one or two episodes to showcase that idea. Herc may be a little out of Regina's purview but Merlin? Yeah, if you are enacting a "curse to end all curses" or what ever, you gotta take Merlin off the board somehow. Hmmm... Regina as Morgan LeFeye some how?

Of course, like I said, watch Rumple turn out to be Zeus, Odin and Ra too.

Technically I think you're right, but I am not sure the mass of fans would stand for it, no matter how loudly some have called for huge change ups and new villains. We are into season 3 and Regina has been shown to have a role in many tales. Seems you are closing off the possibilities for too many future stories that way. But what do I know.

Technically I think you're right, but I am not sure the mass of fans would stand for it, no matter how loudly some have called for huge change ups and new villains. We are into season 3 and Regina has been shown to have a role in many tales. Seems you are closing off the possibilities for too many future stories that way. But what do I know.

If Regina does die, we could finally get more female villains without tying them to her. Hell, even her damn mom doubled as the Queen of Hearts...although, that was a nice twist.

She's the only female lead I can think of who isn't a princess or the main character. The show won't kill off their main character, and we know how Disney feels about their princesses dying.

I do like Regina, though, and it would suck if she died. However, it would show massive character progression if she died protecting the gang or Henry. Self sacrifice.

I just don't think she will ever reform for the future or show regret for the past. So let her get all Dark Jean Grey on us. People want a council of villains? Ok, Let Regina form it for the sole purpose of draining each of them of their power leading up to a final battle in Storybrooke that could decide the fate of all worlds... Or some such. I've had a lot of coffee tonite so that may explain my over the top loopy-ness.

Pretty sure the Queen of Hearts was never meant to be one and the same with the Miller's daughter in the fairy tale books. So yeah, for this show, she doubled as the Queen of Hearts.

At this point, I can't imagine Regina doing all of that. She's already kind of on the road to redemption, and it would just by odd for her to go back on everything only to start the FT Masters of Evil. I would love to see a council of villains, though. It's weird and disappointing that we only got to see some sort of "evil council" in one of the earlier OUaT episodes( I think), and that's it.

The only way I can see Regina going full-evil is if Henry dies, because she has nothing to lose at that point. And I doubt that ABC's okay with a child's death. Could be wrong, though.

Henry does not have to necessarily die for that though. He could definitively just reject Regina. DEFINITIVELY. We are talking about a woman who killed her totally loyal and loving father here. Turning against her adoptive son is not a stretch for me.

That's when Regina was hungry for power, though. After all the care she has shown Henry, I just don't see her lashing out to the extent of assembling an evil council, even if he rejects her.
