Yeah, the only one who was ever outside Storybrooke long enough to make a difference was Emma, and she was a loner. I'm surprised they were in NY instead of Boston, though.

Everybody was going to go back to where they belonged before the Orginal Curse hit. Which meant at the time Hook was in FTL with Cora being Protected by the Curse when it hit

no he was from fairytale land. he was part of a king''s navy who sought out power to destroy another nation..

na, it was essentially where they were all originally from, it's why neal had to go back too. Emma would have as well if it weren't for the fact she's the savior.

Tink, Hook, and everyone else were all from fairytale land...

Cora showed that throughout all last season, and Carlyle's been doing that stuff since day 1.

Love the shift in status quo in this episode. I think this is going to (hopefully) mean alot less of the repetitive flashback stories from now on.

I meant established characters/villains besides Rumple and Regina. Cora was more of an original creation for the show that was shifted into a couple of fairy tales, but yes she was still good. How Pan was done has me excited for the Witch.

As for the Storybrooke stuff, yes they'll all somehow end up back in the town that never should have been, but the how is the question. But I don't think it should be that much of a surprise to anyone who's followed the news. The creators have said that the second half is very Storybrooke-centric, so it had to come back somehow.

Just not in the mood for another world introduced. I'm also just one of the few people on earth who has never been interested in THAT particular world (though I did read the book as a child).

Well, to be fair, we don't really know yet how much of that world we'll see just yet, since it seems like she's in the Enchanted Forest already when everyone is sent back, since she's in Regina's castle and wearing some of her clothes. Plus, with the theories that she was the Black Fairy mentioned, her exile was likely to Oz and she may not want to go back.


And on a related note, the showrunners seem to have had a big plan laid out for the entire season, and it likely included the Witch from the beginning, but not that long ago we had almost all the other major networks developing Oz related projects. Do you think that word got out somehow that they planned for her, and everyone else jumped on the bandwagon to try and take advantage?

Probably. Once hasn't been that accurate with the lore and they tend to flip it on their heads

Couple that with the fact mal wasn'ti the promos, wasn't banished from fairytale land, and clearly did fine on her own without needing a wand... It just doesn't add up
