I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the Wicked Witch may be Regina's sister. Obviously not very original, but it still should make for some great scenes between both actresses.

Now that we know that Wicked Witch is probably Regina's sister, it would explain the clothes and castle as someone said, and that means that Regina will not be Dorothy as I thought, she'll probably end up as Glinda to set a Good Sister vs. Bad Sister scenario.

Again, Regina had Ursula's iconic role in Ariel's storyline, that other Ursula that appeared after had nothing to do with Ariel, Eric or anyone. So yes, Regina was Ursula in Once!

In the Wizard of Oz Glinda is not related to the Wicked Witch. The Wicked Witch of the West is related to the Wicked Witch of the East. So if she was Glinda then we have another sister around.

.... You do realise this is a different scenario right? In the Oz books WWotW actually has a sister in Oz in the same story.... The other relations you speak of are combining several different stories into the same family tree.... Rumple and Pan and evil queen and queen of hearts don't exist in the same stories... The Wicked Witch of the East actually does exist

That suddenly from nowhere there is a sister Regina has never spoken of, interacted with or been acknowledged suddenly showing up is a real big plot hole to cover up.

Now if the Wicked Witch was a sister maybe to Cora, that might be a little more believable in that it makes enough sense to not mention her because how often to people normally talk about their aunts and uncles in everyday conversation? Yes, Mader is relatively younger, but nothing that can't be explained away though magic keeping her younger looking. Plus, it could give us flashbacks to bring back Rose McGowan as a young Cora again.

Though how they'll fit her in as the Black Fairy if she's also a relative to humans, I don't know how that would work if they still go down that route.

I want them to introduce a good witch into this show or someone good who is powerful enough to challenge Regina/Rumple when it comes to magic. Tired of good being weak in that aspect.

Emma has the potential power to be that great but so far she's been under-utilized and kept weak magically to force the story in that direction.

Well it seems like the Blue Fairy has potential but they continually downplay her powers.

True although in her case I think there's some "higher power" or ethical/moral restriction in place. She de-fairied Tinkerbell for breaking the rules and that might apply to her as well. They've been kind of vague on what fairies can and cannot do.

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking as well. I really want Emma to finally step it up and use her magic. They're always talking about she being "the savior", but they never do anything with it. Sure, she broke a curse. Sure, she assisted Regina in stopping the destruction of Storybrooke (season 2 finale). But what else did she do that couldn't be done by another character?

It would be a natural next step in her story to explore what the savior is truly capable of.

She was the savior for Storybrooke, thats as far as her savior hood went as far as I am concerned.

I think it has to be more to it than that or else the series would be over. Her being the savior isn't just Storybrooke, and Storybrooke was not saved in the mid-season finale, it was rendered nonexistant.
