ABC's Once Upon a Time - Part 5

This whole hair color discussion is just a big IDGAF for me. I just don't have enough cares about something like that.

It's pointless and nitpicky. It should have been a pretty big flag in people's minds when they cast a black actress that she more than likely wouldn't have blonde hair. It's also one of the last things that should really matter when it comes to her character. If it's someone who's hair color is rather iconic, like Ariel, I'd maybe understand.

I only pay attention to Regina spoilers and news!

Yeah in the end it isn't a big deal. But coming up with the excuse she is black when they live in a world of magic is laughable.

I just wanna see a black incarnation of Snow White at some point. Not on here but ya know, somewhere. Just to see the Internet collectively shart itself like it did when Affleck was cast

Question: Will we see Peter Pan in the second half of Once Upon a Time Season 3 (premiering March 9)? I was thinking that even if he’s dead, that doesn’t mean he can’t show up in flashback or maybe in Rumpelstiltskin’s subconscious. —Natalie
Ausiello: Series cocreator Eddy Kitsis shares your fandom of Robbie Kay’s run as Pan, saying, “We definitely would like to see him in a flashback, because the character was so much fun to write. I’m not sure it will happen this season, but there is a potential.” Concurs Adam Horowitz: “We would hate to not be able to use him again.”

So has this been renewed for a fourth season yet? I'm nervous about this and Wonderland...

I don't think this will have any problem getting renewed. Wonderland is on borrowed time though, cause its ratings have been terrible.

Yeah I know Wonderland is in trouble, I think an ABC...uh...dude...said he regretting putting it on Thursdays and should of put it on Sunday instead. Its gotten alot better I think. But...oh well...if its cancelled I hope its characters transfer over for more than just the crossover thats coming.

The only character that needs 2 cross over is Sayid from that show

It was the president I think, and yeah, he ****ed it up.

I want to see the Knave stick around too.

Just about every new drama series ABC has trotted out this season (with the semi-exception of Agents of SHIELD) have failed pretty much right out of the gate. I take that as being good news for all the veteran dramas. I'd be shocked if Once Upon a Time, Revenge, etc. aren't back next year.

SHIELD's Marvel stamp is the only reason why it's been lucky enough to miss out on the cancellation ax. I mean it went from being the highest drama premiere in history to getting the same ratings as a show now in it's third season (ONCE) in the span of 5-6 weeks.

Any other show would have been pulled so fast it would make your head spin.

I don't think it was that huge, was it? I thought it was only slightly bigger than Once's premiere in '11.

It was the highest premiere for a drama series on ABC since 2009. A title previously held by another cancelled show - V.

I gave up on Wonderland. I just couldn't enjoy it but Sayid's Jafar would be excellent to see crossover.

So what was this for? Another show or something they were going to do on Once?

They were going to do a seperate Beauty an The Beast series, don't think it was going to be related to the show.

Once Upon a Time Exclusive: Glinda Has Been Cast — Look Who Scored the Oz-some Role

Ding-dong — the (other) witch is cast!

Two months after Once Upon a Time announced that Lost alum Rebecca Mader would be “going green” to play a version of the Wizard of Oz Wicked Witch, TVLine can exclusively confirm that actress Sunny Mabrey is joining the ABC drama as Glinda the Good Witch.

As we previously reported, Mabrey’s Glinda has been described as elegant, warm and benevolent, as well as wise, clever and shrewd. However, years of isolation have made her lonely and cautious — though at her core, she is a steadfastly filled with optimism.

Mabrey, whose biggest TV credits include recurring stints on TNT’s Memphis Beat and Lifetime’s The Client List, will debut this spring.

Once Upon a Time resumes Season 3 on Sunday, March 9.

Vine, I think.

New promo!

I think I saw a flying monkey!

:awesome::up:

I really hope the inclusion of Oz-related stuff drives up viewership a bit. Given the secrecy around who they cast as Pan at the beginning of the season, they really didn't play that up at all in the promos. But here, they're dropping the Wicked Witch, the yellow brick road, flying monkeys... and Wizard of Oz is without a doubt more ingrained in pop culture than Peter Pan. Hopefully this gets the second half of the season some attention.

I dunno. Am I the only one that really feels odd about the inclusion of Oz and The Wicked Witch? I never really felt as if Oz was Disney related. I dunno, just seems different compared to everything else. I think the show has taken a really weird turn after the first half of the season and I think it's one of those things where it could either kill the show or revitalize it. Just seems like so much to add after we've already had a ton added to the mythos this season.
