ABC's Once Upon a Time - Part 5

She could just be guest starring and not actually returning full time.

I know, I clarified my post on that point. It's too hard to say what Meghan's status on Once is going to be from a Tweet. It can be a one time guest appearance or a full time regular again.

I really doubt she'd become a regular again. The entire reason she took the pilot for Intelligence to begin with was because Eddy and Adam's plans for the second season changed and they didn't really have anything for her to do. If anything, I bet her return will be more like "Hey, see, she hasn't disappeared entirely!" than a full-time gig.

If Intelligence does get cancelled, and they do find a need for Ruby again, there's also a chance they could bring her back closer to full time next season.

Now, that Sochi Olympics is over, hopefully seeing more promos soon to get people's attention again.

Yea, probably like Giancarlo's cameo at the beginning of this season

seeing as its never(for the moment) getting a uk airing. i finally "caught up" with all the eps up till the mid season break

now that was an interesting ending, so i gotta ask with all the fairy tale characters going back do any of them remember or do they revert back to pre cruse. if so thats a hell of a lot of character development to throw away

They'll all remember Storybrooke.

thank god for that, really didnt want to watch a whole memory's coming back repeat of season 1

Don't worry. Now you're gonna get that with Emma! Ugh. This show.

Easy cure for your displeasure. Don't watch. I don't mean this as a dig, but after lurking around TWOP forums the reason I chose the HYPE was because TWOP is full of posters who complain about a show yet tune in week in week out. I just don't get that. I hated THOR:TDW. I don't visit those threads at all. Again, no disrespect but why continue to punish yourself?

The key difference this time around being that, instead of a non-believer being surrounded by people who don't know who they are, it's someone who doesn't know who she is surrounded by people who do.

To see how bad it becomes. My little brother also watches it. And a few of the actors.

Again, no offense but schaddenfreude is just on odd motivation to keep up with a show for. Isn't that like watching every single Royals game but actually being a fan of the Cardinals, and when people ask you why you do that you say, "Cuz I hate the Royals"? :cwink: :yay:

So it's a ripoff of Lacey from s2 which was a ripoff of Claire from s1 of Lost. Let us weep at the creativity. ABC replace your showrunners now. Seriously though, what purpose is this going to serve for Emma's character?

Look at your life. Look at your choices.

Lol! Like I said, there's some actors that are worth it.

Do you just go from thread to thread bashing stuff and starting arguments, Dagenspear? It's really quite odd. Even though I do essentially agree with you. I roll my eyes more and more when thinking about this show but, I do still unabashedly love it and the characters and do not feel the incessant need to bash it and be confrontative with fellow fans

Where's the confrontation? I'm answering questions and we're having fun.

I just don't see how you can't see what this would do for Emma as a character. This isn't just some good girl gone bad **** like they did with Belle becoming Lacey last season, or some amnesia subplot like Claire had on LOST. She's very much the same person, but with a slight (but very effective) alteration in her backstory. She's not the woman who gave up her child because she thought she couldn't give him his best chance anymore. In her mind, and in Henry's, they're not two strangers who came together a few years ago anymore. They're a family. David told everyone after the curse broke that they were both personas, and that will hold true, even if they get their memories of Storybrooke back. She's now as much Henry's mother as Regina ever was, and ironically, Regina was a part of creating that reality for them.

It's almost like Fringe season 4 to me. Slight alterations to the backstory can make for big changes, even if it's not something as over-the-top as making Emma another character entirely.

I wasn't too fond of where Fringe went in and after season 4 tbqh....

And if I cared about Emma's role as a mom or about Henry at all that might mean something. But even then it wouldn't be real. Emma didn't develop into this organically. It's just basically a reboot of her character.

Right? It got so needlessly convoluted and predictable in the end.
