If I took a shot for everytime the name Eric came out of Ariels mouth tonight I would be drunk.

Nice surprise that present Ariel wasn't Ariel, but I want real Ariel to come back. After such a fuss of waiting to bring her in, they never did much with her.

Loved Reginas look of disgust at seeing Ariel having her "happy ending" gonna need a gif of that.

My review:
I'm really not too fond of the writers choosing to turn Hook into an anti-hero and pushing him towards Emma because I feel like it makes the character dull as heck, but found tonight's episode interesting in spite of myself, largely due to everything in it besides the Hook/Ariel present-day 'Eric hunt'.

With only 5 episodes left in the season, the writers are going to have to eventually 'fire the gun' that they 'hung on the wall' in this episode, and in spite of feeling like a Hook/Emma pairing is not the best of ideas, I can't help but wonder what the ultimate story ramifications of Zelena's 'Cursed Kiss' spell are going to be.

Next week's episode looks really interesting, although I do wish we were getting a guest appearance from Barbara Hershey as well as from Rose McGowan (but that's really neither here nor there).

I didn't think about it when I was watching, but I like how what Zelena did to Hook was the reverse of everything else we've seen in regards to true love's kiss being able to break curses. This time around, if he gets the kiss he wants, they're all screwed.

Unless you know something I don't, there is absolutely nothing to suggest that Cora 'hooked up' with Leopold at any point.

You know I think I just figured out how this season may end Emma gets cruse by the sleeping cruse and at the end Henry will kiss her on the forehead to wake her up. Which may bring back his memories just like she did in season 1.

^ Adam and Eddy have said that the Sleeping Curse Regina was going to dose herself with isn't important and doesn't get brought up again; it was merely a one-off 'macguffin' to facilitate the scene where Zel introduces herself to Regina.

As of now, at most Snow is Zelena's niece by marriage.

Technically, she's Zel's step-niece by marriage, but that's neither here nor there.

Edited to add: the description for next week's episode officially and unequivocally rules out the completely implausible and illogicall notion that Snow's father Leopold is Zelena's father as well, thankfully.

I'm actually thinking Snow's child is Dorothy... because yes, while biologically Emma will be her sister.. she will still likely be referred to as an "aunt" aka... Auntie Em

They confirmed at Wondercon that they blended Zelena and Dorothy, and we'll see more about that in ep 20 with Glinda.
