Love how they did the hat so much. Also, I'm assuming this development sheds some light on why episode 4 is titled "The Apprentice".

Yeah I think it being yensid hat would make more since then it being somebody like Mickey Mouse.

Maybe Pinocchio was somehow the Sorcerer's Apprentice since he was the one who once had the storybook to repair & make some alterations to.

^ He clearly stole the book from Henry while he was in Storybrooke, but we do need an explanation as to how he knew what to do in order to add his own story to it.

BTW, Adam and Eddy deserve some major kudos for something they did in tonight's episode that I didn't realize until just a few seconds ago:
They completely altered the nature of how we as a fandom perceive the Enchanted Forest. Instead of it being a world in and of itself, they revealed tonight that it's simply a place within a world, and did so in just about the most offhand manner possible with Kristoff's dialogue to Elsa about the EF being called Mist Haven.

Well played, guys; well played.

I wasn't that surprised by that revelation, I always thought that having every place being in another dimension or part of the EF was a bit much. Though it is nice that they are finally doing it.

I really wish they would give the Enchanted Forest a major makeover, there really is nothing enchanting about it.

Agrahbah should be in the same world as well imo with Atlantica existing between all worlds, sort of as a center point.

As a refresher, here's the worlds that we know exist within the Once-verse thanks to tonight's episode:
Wonder Land
Never Land
Oz
The Land without Magic
The Land without Color
Victorian Land
Fairy Tale Land (home to Agrabah, Arendelle, and the Enchanted Forest/Mist Haven)

I turned it off after the opening, the time jump of 5 years from elsa and anna's parents death to the girls being older was laughble, did no one watch the movie that wrote for this show?

Elsa was crowned queen three years after her parents died. So, if Once Upon a Time is following that timeline, that means the events in this episode take place 2 years after the events of Frozen. What's so unbelievable about that? Anna and Kristoff are just about to get married, so a two-year courtship after meeting in Frozen doesn't seem so outlandish.

Also, that's a really nitpicky reason to turn off a show, five minutes in.

Well it was never mickeys nor was mickey a wizard. He took it from Yensid and made a mess. Itd make no sense for it to be mickey lol

Have you not seen frozen? The parents didnt die when they were kids.... you just missed a great episode with quite possibly the most respect paid towards a disney film yet, for a very silly reason.

I wonder if the writer of the book will look like Walt Disney. I think that would be cool, but Disney is a bit particular about his portrayal.

I also think the owner of the hat yensid and the writer of the book are two totally different people. Then again with this show you never know.

Yensid or the brother's grimm are probably the only characters i'd find acceptable to write the book with... Yensid is suppose to be like the most powerful sorcerer... I wouldn't be shocked if they merged him with Merlin too.. but yeah. I really wouldn't want the book to be written by anyone else but the Grimm's or Yensid. It fit's incredibly nice.

I do think however Mickey Mouse and Co if ever on the show.. would be jumping the shark a bit too much imo... I think it'd look silly. similarly.. I think the reason we don't have Olaf on the show.. is maybe they don't want to pay Josh Gad? and they realize that Olaf might not be respectfully handled without him?

I think it's less about "believably" and more about keeping that particular fan favorite character intact. I think Olaf has less wiggle room due to the fact he's a new character that probably has less wiggle room to alter in any look, voice, or personality.

Well Frozen did it's job in the ratings
Go figure. Once Upon a Time‘s decision to incorporate the buzziest Disney characters in a great while paid off in the ratings on Sunday night, as the Season 4 premiere – drawing 9.4 million total viewers and a 3.4 demo rating, and earning a “B+” grade from TVLine readers — surged 11 and 31 percent versus last year’s opener. That marks Once‘s best numbers since Nov. 4, 2012 (Season 2’s “Tallahassee”).

This pleases me. Hope they stay high.

THIS is the one I want them to expand upon the most, I loved that the people in the EF saw Frankenstein's science as powerful magic and vice-versa

im amazed at the number of people who actually are convinced that mickey mouse will physically appear

If they arent even gonna TRY to put Olaf in then they're DEFINITELY not gonna use Mickey

That was a great episode. Regina's storyline is actually interesting since it could be a way to bring back all the villains and form a Legion of Doom.

I'm not sure why you changed The Land without Color (which is the world's official name, BTW) to something that it has little to nothing to do with (Universal Monsters Land), but I do agree that it would be neat to revisit that world in some capacity in a future season.

I would also like to see them revisit Victorian Land at some point and thereby bring Alice, Cyrus, and their daughter onto Once proper.

Dont know if this has been posted but I guess here is the possible first look at everyone's favorite *****ebag...HANS!

So it appears Hans is responsible for putting her in the urn... A-hole

i bet he even brings it to her claiming it's the remains of Anna...
