It's astonishing to me just how much I don't care about this show anymore. I mean, I'm gonna watch it but I could honestly care less what happens at this point. And I actually like season 3.1. The second half wasn't too bad but maybe because I haven't seen Frozen and honestly don't care to but I'm just kinda meh about this show anymore. Which sucks cuz I used to look forward to it each week

Your not alone.I am seriously considering not watching Once Upon a Time;Frozen this fall

I haven't seen frozen so that leaves me with little excitemnet.

In adattion I hated the season finlae.

I hated that zelna wasn't stopped in season finale.

Regina breaking new curse was just throwing emma under the bus to make regina into the hero.have people completly forgetten season 1 or some of her actions In Season 2.

It seems like they view emma only purpose anymore is to be around hook.A ship I hate.

well, I've never seen an episode of the show, and I never had much interest in it.

but, because of the Frozen theme of the new season, I'm actually going to tune in for the first time ( in forever.........heh ).

I feel bad for you. Season 2 IMO was ****ing great. They lost me though after they killed Baelfire. Sorry but he was one of the main draws for me after season 1. "What happened to Bae?!" Was one of the most intriguing parts of the show and after its all be revealed barely a season later he's killed off. Yea ok, they seemed to not know where they should take the character but killing him off to make room for Hook/Emma just pisses me off. I wasn't big on Zelena's inclusion but I will admit she did grow on me a bit. I just don't care about Frozen. Maybe if I saw it I'd change my mind but this show has just completely gone off the rails. The Wicked Witch is MODERN literature! Created in the 20th century! ****! At this point why don't we introduce ****ing Narnia and Middle Earth while we're at it! I can deal with classic literary characters like Dickens or Twain and stuff along those lines but the line needa to be drawn somewhere or literally no fictional character, that they can manage to get the rights to, is off the table. Just gets on my nerves is all. Sorry, rant over. I'm still gonna watch but UGH lol

I mostly agree with you.

I hate that towards end of season 2 they had Emma and Neal admit they still loved each othe but then In season 3 even though they made him a regural that was basicly forgoteen so they could push Hook.

This is something i alway have to laugh about.
Even after the writers confirmed that Hook always meant to fall in love with emma, right from the beginning, people still think its fanservice.

Even after the writers, the cast constantly made sure to tell the people that a love triangle between hook/emma/Neal was made up from the media.
Jennifer Morrison even called neal just the father of her child, over and over again, yet people make more out of it then it ever was.

I dont know how clearer they could have made it that the topic of true love, doesnt apply to emma and neal.

He knew that this 17 year old girl would go to jail for crimes he committed too, and he didnt do anything to help her
He knew years later that she was in storybrooke, and he didnt go after her
He told a girl that was left alone her entire life, that he wouldnt have gone near her if he knew who she was

Until his last episode, neal never did anything that applys to what we know about true love in the show........opposite to hook who did all the things that were established.

I agree with everybody who likes baelfire, this was a interesting and good character.
But neal was a different character until he died.
He had potential, but not as love interest for Emma.

Ummm, I don't care. I liked the character. From the moment he was introduced in season one and then MRJ came in in season 2 I thought he was a great character and I enjoyed his being on the show. It's just an opinion. I disagree with the directions lots of shows take. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna watch.

I didn't say I hate Hook either. I actually like the character. I just like Neal more. Maybe it's the significance of Neal as a character before the reveal of him being Baelfire is what I liked or somethin. I dunno. I like MRJ as an actor as well so that could be it too. Either way, I just didn't like that they did that. I'm over it now. It's just a show. I just feel that after the first half of season 3 they've lost their focus a bit. It doesn't feel like its leading up to a climax more like we are just getting the next adventure in a long string of adventures. This show felt like more than that in season one and two

Why do people hate Hook?

Thats a good question, most of the reason the people bring up against him, can be said for other character of the show too.

Mainly the delusional Swanqueen(emma/regina) fans try to build up hate against Hook.

Hook is my personal favorite Male character of OUAT.

On that subject, isn't it kind of ironic that Prince Charming is a maximally uninteresting character?

I wonder if the writers did that on purpose?

Charming never fails to make dumb decisions and to prompt for exposition.

After Frozen I'm done with OUAT to me Hook is not The Captain Hook and they Butcher Peter Pan and killed off Baelfire. Even to this day I still believe Nealfirepan should have happen, and when can they stop with the Hook= Han Emma =Leia Rumple=Anakin/Vader.

I know I'm going to sound horrible for this but after seeing Maximus One quoted so often I just need to say it ... The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was written and published in the 19th century, not the 20th.

Oh and the death of Baelfire sucked.

Isnt the whole point of OUAT to show a different take on fairytale characters?
From all the villians so far, peter pan was the greatest.
Zelena was also pretty evil, but Pan still was more evil i think.

Neverland was an arc that was streched out too long or not planned well enough, it was overall very weak.
The Zelena/Oz arc on the other hand, was going too fast and also not developed enough.
There was a lot more they could have done with the Wizard of Oz OUAT version.

The point of OUaT is to indulge in high-production-value Disney-related cosplay and fan fiction.

I don't get people who get angry about the show as personally I'm just not into headspace. The show is for fun. The only thing that has angered me is that Ariel never referred to a fork as a dinglehopper.

Why do people hate Hook?

because of the majority of the fangirls love him, its standard hardcore fan mentality, of the masses like that character we must hate them. it happens all the time

personally i dont mind the character but i always like the smug ******* idea. i do agree its a shame they killed of bae. i do think she should have been kept around, not for the love triangle that was getting boring just for the banter between him and hook.

the two would have made a pretty cool buddy cop type pair

* Lee touted Once Upon a Time‘s integration of Frozen characters as a “wonderful asset,” and noted that Disney chief creative officer John Lasseter has been on set in Vancouver and is “integrally related” to what the ABC series has in store for Elsa, Anna et al. All told, Lee hailed Once as “a greatly underrated show,” possibly due to its reputation as “a big family show.”

I don't think it is underrated, it can be very hit or miss at times and for certain characters.

Just because you think that doesn't mean it's not underrated.

Why don't they just change title to Once Upon a Time:Frozen?

Lee comments does nothing to want me to get intrested In this season.
