So I finally caught up to the show today and... I really love where this is all going and have to say that the FROZEN characters seem to have injected some needed urgency into the writing of every character. Can I also say I am pleasantly surprised at how around here there's been almost no wailing and rending of clothes about how the FROZEN characters have been handles. There's too much to go into in one post but perhaps my most favorite thing is the writers remembering that the mystery of the book itself, that these in fact are created characters, was a huge thing in season one that sort of fell to the wayside, but it stuck out to me for years. Now it seems we'll be getting some kind of answers and it's going to be Regina that is the instigator of said plot line. Perfect.

I wonder if Frozen gets the next spin off ? Why only use that Frozen cast once ?

I'm not sure that they should do a frozen spin-off... I don't think Frozen has as rich of a world (yes they can expand on it with new characters, but that's not really part of the Once franchises charm, it's twisting stories of familiar characters) as Wonderland, Narnia, and Oz do... I'd just keep them popping up as supporting characters (or eventually main cast members) on once

I could see them as becoming main characters on OUAT, but other that, even as a big fan of Frozen, I'm not sure that I would want to see a spin off.

Liked the episode a lot. Well, aside from the whole 'hand making Hook bad again'-thing, even though it was a lie. I loved that Hook finally changed his clothes and (briefly) got his hand back.

Also loved how Mary Margaret and David were acting about the date. First time they see their "little" girl go on a date.

The apprentice being turned into a mouse was amazing. Best. Cameo. Ever.

Now about Rumple wanting the box/hat, I think he could actually be doing this for a very good reason. It might have started out as a way to rid himself of his weaknesses and become nearly immortal, but right now he might just be doing this to secure the safety of those he loves: Belle and Henry (at least I hope he loves him, he's his only grandchild). In the past it was shown how dangerous it can be when the Dark One's Dagger falls into the wrong hands and he almost killed the others. I really do believe that he changed and in the end is doing this for the best. Sure his methods are still sick, but whatever.

And am I the only one who thinks Henry is the author of the storybook? Not the young Henry, of course, but his older self. As for how it ended up in the past so that his younger self could have it...magic.

Forget a Frozen spin off do Neverland and bring back Peter and Tink. You can even get away with Tink being evil and her bringing Peter back.

If they do have another villain for the second half of the season, I reeeaaally hope it's Jafar. Yeah, he already featured in Wonderland, but Will got brought to Storybrooke as well. I've been waiting for Aladdin and Jasmine since season 2 of OUAT. Now that they've established other kingdoms outside of Mist Haven (Enchanted Forrest), it should be no problem to move from Arendelle to Agrabah. It's time they explore more parts of the fairytale-world.

I totally agree with you about the Aladdin universe. I have heard that the next half of the season will deal with Maleficent.

Well, I can live with Maleficent. Especially since she was really underwhelming in the past, while she should be one of the strongest villains around. Hope she's a total badass. And some Aurora/Phillip screen time would certainly be nice.
