And I'll say I prefer the original Mal costume. Ya know, when the show wasn't desperately trying to carbon copy the Disney characters.
Also, are those three going to wear those same ****ing outfits the entire rest of the season like Elsa and Anna?
I miss when Regina's Evil Queen had a new fabulous outfit every episode.![]()

But this just convinces me further that they aren't that big of TLM with it being the least faithful adaption they have done thus far.
I don't see how The Little Mermaid is the leaast faithful adaption they have done. It had almost all important stuff from the cartoon just twisted a little bit. What about Pan, Wicked Witch, Beauty and the Beast.... All these are completely different from the original. The fact is that it was Lana's dream since she was a kid to play Ursula, and they gave that to her complete with the iconic look and moments from the story. They should of just merged Ursula and Regina into one character like they did with Rumple and the Beast instead of creating this new Ursula that looks nothing like her and has no connection to Little Mermaid.
They said that Maleficent may have multiple costumes.

Shouldn't you be obsessing over Reginas potential broken heart in the next episode instead of making somewhat sense? lol.
While they have changed other fairy tales, Pan still had Neverland/Hook as an enemy/Lost Boys/Wendy, they just changed up how it all went down.
It's great as gravy that Lana wanted to play Ursula, but thank god they didn't combine the two. Ursula is one of the most popular Disney Villains, she deserves her own story. But they shouldn't have reworked TLM so much to the point that the only thing they have in common is Ariel/Eric hooking up. Don't be messing with my favorite Disney movie, it will cause me to go ALL lima heights.
And it was horrible (like every other fairytale) and I didn't appreciate it.
Wait, so are you saying you ONLY like the Frozen stuff since it's the only time they stuck to the exact looks and storylines of the characters?
What I love about the show since season one is that it takes known characters but gives you a new take on them with new twists and sometimes even new personalities. That's why I never minded the original Maleficent design, and I don't mind how Ursula looks now. And why I had a major problem with the Frozen schtick this season, even though I've still enjoyed this season as a whole so far...
... Get over it? They tweak every story to what they need.
She got the same treatment as Cinderella and Repunzel and so many others. I don't expect this show to retell ever popular Disney fairytale as a major plot point. It's never been about doing that.TLM story was wasted which is sad given that they hyped it up for three seasons, hell are we even going to see Ariel come face to face with the real Ursula? Of all the stories done I was most disappointed in that one and I'm not even TLM's biggest fan.
