I've been waiting for four f***ing seasons for someone to take her to task for that. Snow always ends up apologizing and begging for forgiveness, and I'm always like "Ummm..."

^ It's a play on the phrase "there's more than one way to skin a cat"... which, incidentally, I'm surprised isn't a phrase you've heard of before given that it's a fairly mainstream saying.

I think it's safe to say Cruella comes from the same Realm where we could possibly see a Gatsby tie-in some day.. though, kinda shocked a passing reference or cameo by a gatsby character wasn't used.. since they are so set on Disney now.. that all other literary works seem to have dissipated

I kept wondering about that at first, like she's not from the real world? Then I remembered Whale being Victor Frankenstein in another realm, so she is from a realm where it's always the 20's era.

Too bad it wasn't explained how she got to the EF.

They should just have her come from Alices world. It is a bit much to have sooooooo many worlds, especially of England.

I'm not entirely sure it was 20s england... the accent just means she's from england.. not necessarily that she's in England.. the 20s flapper style is more of a US thing wasn't it? I know Art Deco spread everywhere, but it was also more widely used in the US than Europe wasn't it?

I was working on a project during this episode, so didn't remember or catch anything that was inherently british outside of accents. But that being said, she didn't question the author for not having an english accent...

Plus there's nothing victorian about Cruella De Vil.. so the Victorian England Realm isn't logical at all.. there's nothing wrong with expanding the realms. We saw soooo many in Jeffereson's Hat anyway...

It's interesting now to know what the villians happy endings are.

Rumple is dying and wants his heart to heal.
Maleficent wants her daughter back.
Ursula wanted her singing voice back.
And Cruella just wanted to kill people again.

Cruella may be the most "100% villain" we've seen on the show... we need more like her.. sometimes people are just bad. and news flash, she's not less interesting because of that (note to writers)

The writers said that she wasn't really a villain.

They just threw her in there for name recognition. Nothing else.

that's the annoying part.. considering she herself considered herself to be a villain, or at least portrayed as one.. with no evidence of it.
