What about
the kid that plays Henry?

Its been rumoured that he also is gone after this season...same as belle.
So the show would lose Snowhite, Charming, Emma, Henry and belle.

I dont really see how another season could work without them.
They are all Keycharacters that play the most important roles in one way or the other.

Losing half the cast, cant do the show any good.

And its not like the ratings are that high even with the full cast.

Reading JenMos exit interview with Tvline, I'm not surprised she didn't stay. She sounded kind of miserable having to work in Vancouver. She never really started up any kind of life there since she was taking 100 flights a year (basically anytime she had off time) to spend time in LA/NYC with friends and family.

She also stated she is friends with some of the cast which seems shady but i wont read anything into it lol.

Wow, well if reports are right that they will give this season closure for said characters and their arcs up till now, I guess I'll be done too. Just waiting for s6 to go up on Netflix.

So she essentially put her life on hold for 6 years. That's some sacrifice man.

Not really, she did a lot of projects while filming the show.
She directed most recently a movie called sun dogs if i remember correctly.

She was friends with ginnifer goodwin before the show, in general the cast got along quite well, the only one that she had a rather "cold" work relationship with is Lana Parilla...but otherwise the cast is quite close.

Everything else is just the typical rumour trying to stir up something.

I heard they were going to do a semi reboot/relaunch next season anyway so losing some main cast members would probably fit with that direction.

So Swanqueen doesn't carry over in real life huh lol

I say goodriddance at this point.. the show should have done this a long time ago.. sooo many more interesting characters have been introduced and gone no-where infavor of the same old cast doing the same old things with the same old story on repeat...

Wow, sad to hear Morrison is leaving. If Charming and Snow went it would be alright because there would still have been Emma, Henry and Regina.

Depending on how they shake it out, hopefully making it Regina-centric, then I will still watch. But if it changes too much, then I may have to call it when the others do...

With that out of the way, what a great episode! I loved most of the songs and how they fit in. Sadly, I thought Regina's was the weakest, but I could chock that up to her being evil and evil never being good enough. I also liked how they threaded Young Emma's humming straight through and evolved it into her song at the end.

I have to say this musical episode was far better than the one they did for the Supergirl/Flash crossover.:csad:

And thinking about Young Emma, what about this crazy thought?

If they are going to do a soft-reboot, how about Emma being turned back into a younger version of herself and then being raised by Regina!

Shocking, right. XD

Yeah, as if the show needed more focus on the one character that got 3545464 flashback episodes that told the viewer absolutly nothing new.
As if the show works with focus on the character who killed the show completely with getting main focus on the first half of season 6.

If they are going to do a soft-reboot, how about Emma being turned back into a younger version of herself and then being raised by Regina!

That would be downright creepy...but i can see that a certain fandom of the show would be totally into it...afteralll, they want Emma to make out with her step grandmother for 6 seasons :woot:

In the end there is no reason for a season 7, everything is told and done in the show.
6 of the 9 main cast members leave after this season...it is simply done.
Dragging it out for another season which probably wouldnt even get a full season...is just not worth it.

I think this show's best run was S1-S3. After that there's been some good and some bad but mostly it's been repetitive. But just the first three seasons we had the best versions of arcs that have carried over for the rest of the show: Rumple's "will he/won't he" in S3 had me convinced he'd become a hero, for example, but by the time S5 came around and they were still trying to make him a hero, but not really, I was over it. Snow had her first "I'm not actually totally perfect" arc in S2 when she killed Cora, but ever since then it seems like every season there's a flashback to the Enchanted Forest that's all "Ooh, Snow and Charming aren't actually as perfect as we've always thought...again." It's gotten old. And that's sad because I remember in the first few seasons I legitimately loved these characters. But their arcs have become so same old, same old. I'll grant that I really enjoyed most of S5, though. It just wasn't as good as the first seasons.

So that said, I'd really prefer they not continue this show without Emma, Snow, and Charming. It just wouldn't be the same. I love Regina and Rumple, and I'd assume Henry will stick around. But by losing Emma we'll probably lose Hook too. I've heard that Belle may not return. Which leaves us with...Regina, Henry, Rumple, and Zelena? Not my ideal cast, TBH. Especially since two of those characters (Regina and Rumple) have basically been retreading their same arcs for so many seasons. I hope they can keep making it interesting...I'm just not seeing it right now.

I stopped watching the show once they made Peter Pan evil. After that I didn't care to much for it. I mean how they can justify making Pan evil but all the other evil people in fairytales heroes is beyond me.

If they get to S7, then I hope they leave Storybrook behind. Get away from the flashbacks, and the retreads and start something new. Take Regina and Henry (maybe Young Emma) and put them into an entirely new situation.

Maybe make up their own world, something entirely new, rather than going back to the Fairy Tales that have been the core of the story. Get away from trying to find everyone a happy ending, and just try and save some new world from a great evil.

From what i heard the renewal comes largely due to a deal with netflix that involves six numbers...so yeah, that explains why they would continue.

I just dont get it, the story is pretty much told...all the characters storylines are finished, 6 of the 9 main cast members leave...how can this show go on?

And its not like the show had the best writing to begin with, im really not sure they can do better without most of the characters and when pretty much every interesting character/story has been used.

Personally im done after the season 6 finale, especially since i dont like regina or rumplestilskin.
Hook's whole story and everything about him has been told and done, so there is nothing interesting there either.

A bad move imo, but we will see.

Rebecca Mader is out now too...

im very intrigued as to what they think season 7 is going to be about.. it definitely sounds like it's going to be the Regina show

only regina, hook, rumple, and according to rumor an older recast version of henry will be back.it should have ended this season.

The show felt so long in the tooth this season. I've spent most of the episodes just playing with my phone or paying attention to my dogs. I'm still a fan, and catching up the last 7 or 8 episodes over the last week has been a nice binge, but I'm ready to say goodbye.

With most of the main cast leaving, who's the show going to focus on?

So pretty much the two characters the show has mostly always focused on.

2 newbies/regina/rumple

I know Regina is a fan fav, even for me, but the whole idea of her character works because of her evolving relationship with Emma and how they compliment each other. Now that one half of that is gone, I'm not sure how they're going to move forward with Regina. I haven't seen this season yet (waiting for Netflix) so things might've changed, but judging from the last 5 seasons of their dynamic, I doubt it.
