Can't wait to get some Jiminy backstory.

Is the Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood the same one from 3 Little Pigs? What about the wolf character from Pinocchio was he originally part of the Pinocchio fairytale or was he also a Disney add on? They surely wouldn't have 3 different wolf characters on the show would they?

The Big Bad Wolf could be combined if they wanted to cut down on characters, but in Pinocchio, that is a fox, so he is definitely a different character. Yes, the character is in the original story. They could use the name Honest John, which I believe is a Disney creation, but I believe the fox & cat are part of the original story.

Just watched ep. 4. What did you guys think of the [BLACKOUT]exploding fairy godmother[/BLACKOUT]? It kind of caught me off guard. lol

I know some people make a minor deal of her being a black fairy godmother who just happens to get blown up. But idk, I didnt mind it but im not a big fan of them having every princess have some kind of deal with Rumple to make it darker.

Vivica A. Fox played Anne Hathaway's fairy godmother in Ella Enchanted so a black fairy godmother wasn't that big of deal & that story was loosely based on Cinderella.

I don't think the issue is that they made her black. It's that they made her black and then they killed her. "Oh look a black fairy godmother that's coo- and now she's dead."

Most of the complaints that I had heard about is just that they killed her off so quick, as she's an established character that's been around for decades. Very few made it a race issue, and those who did made it bigger than it was. I don't mind it as it kinda sets a tone where nobody is really safe.

Most I heard were the race issue but yeah I didn't have a problem with it at all.

The mayor from Buffy and Barb from Cougar Town as Jiminy's parents. I love it.

Ok I am getting tired of them making Rumple the go to guy for everyones dreams that they cant get on their own. Next thing you know he is going to be the one who turned Ariel into a human.

How the hell does he have those dolls in the real world ? I am guessing that cave is going to come into play later

Was that the mirror at the bottom of the mine? And DRAGONS!!! :awesome:

There have been a few artifacts that have popped up in the pawn shop from the fairy tale world. In the Cinderella ep, someone spotted the mobile that was over Emma's crib right after she was born.

I wonder if Mr. Gold has been freely going back & fourth between the worlds ? I bet he has his own secret passage way somewhere

I don't know what that was. It almost looked like some big glass column tipped on it's side. Anyone else get a better look.

I think it's likely that things, rather than just the people, also made the trip over with the curse. Remember, in the pilot, we saw the gnome the queen turned to stone being used as a garden gnome at the mayor house.

It seems like things that have to do with the deals that Gold/Rumple make show up in the shop.

Well considering the dolls were made about 40years before the spell I dont think he is going back and forth. Guess he went back for some reason and just collected the parents.

I would think though that since the fairy tale world would probably be a barren waste land & I could almost bet that Mr. Gold makes regular trips there

Ah, others have pointed out that it looks like the glass thing at the end, and the piece of glass the Mayor found, was Snow White's coffin.

I think there may be some fables left there since if everyone made the trip Storybrooke would have to be A LOT bigger.
