They don't seem to be going by the original stories completely. The Disney versions seem to also be valid to what they are doing. I mean the dwarfs names or Maleficent. There are a lot of disney references as well.

Yeah and i like that because i watched all the classic disney movies as a kid so that is great.

Also maybe Dr. Whale is Monstro the whale from Pinocchio. I think that might be a stretch because he was a whale not a guy, but who knows.

And it's actually not that bad to me. After two seasons of V, The greenscreen on this show looks like ****ing Avatar quality.

Yes the Evil Queen from Snow White & the Miller's daughter from Rumplestiltskin will turn out to be one in the same. Question is when & where did the Miller's daughter/Evil Queen learn magic? Maybe the King already had Snow White when he hooked up with the Miller's daughter who would later become the Evil Queen. Maybe Snow White somehow caused the death of her half brother or was blamed for causing his death even if it was a freak accident & then the Evil Queen made a deal with OUAT's version of Rumplestiltskin to help her get revenge against Snow White......

I have also thought that it may be a child that the Evil Queen lost and not just a husband. It might be both though. I am just not sure if she really cared for her husband and instead just used her husband, Snow's father, to get power.

I think it would be interesting if the Evil Queen ended up being the miller's daughter from the original Rumpelstiltskin story. That sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe then she would have some sort of power over him because she said his name and he went through all these deals so he would end up in that cave jail to gain power over her by making her do what he said in the real world when he said please.

And he collected everything from everyone so that he would have these connections to the fairy tale world and they would help with his memories. Though so far things don't seem to be helping with peoples memories. Charming did notice the unicorn mobile, but Snow's ring doesn't seem to be helping her remember, but maybe it will by the end of the season. She does keep playing with it a lot.

Last thing, maybe the Evil Queen always had magic or got her magic from Rumpelstiltskin, but she learned how to control it or simply learned magic, if it is just spells and not something innate, from Maleficent the evil witch from Sleeping beauty that they showed in Episode 2. That would be interesting to me if the learning of magic was passed down. I liked how the two of them traded spells with each other. Though i don't really think they will do that in the master/apprentice sort of way, but just an idea.

Yeah and i don't think that the Evil Queen cares for Snow's father like i said. I do think she is just using that marriage to gain power. She is trying to gain power over Snow. So whatever Snow did to her was before that. I love the political nature of this show.

I can get on board with the Queen & the miller's daughter theory. It also adds a little emphasis on the Queen & her father's story. Also could explain why everyone knows Rumpelstiltskin's name now.

The theory is that Evil Queen/Regina's father may be the miller. And in Rumpelstiltskin's original fairytale, the miller's daughter (Regina, according to this theory) becomes the queen. So basically, the Evil Queen from Snow White may also be the prominent figure from Rumpelstiltskin's story. We probably won't learn this until we get a Rumples-centric story, though.

And the reason for the theory is because the Evil Queen's name in the real world is Regina Mills and Mills means miller.

I wish he had just told Emma. I don't see how this show doesn't go crazy once they really believe that she is the Evil Queen and that she has killed people and is killing people. I know they area going to right this off as a brain aneurysm or a heart defect in the real world, but eventually people have to start believing in the fairy tale world and the Evil Queen is so dangerous.

Also what in the world was Mr. Gold doing in the forest with a shovel.

Is anybody else curious about how this show will exceed multiple seasons if further episodes are similar to the last one?

A major character just died!

I mean, how does that not just like raise flags.

I really do think that while Gold/Rumple has his own agenda, he really is supporting the characters and trying to help them. Anyone agree?

He wasn't really a major character. There is plenty of story here especially with the political nature of the fairy tale world. And they haven't even done back stories for all of the characters like for Red and they can still add characters. And we know there will be a new guy that will come along at some point.

They killed characters on LOST all the time and that was an amazing show.

The Huntsman wasn't really a Major Character in the Fairy Tale world. Now say if somebody like The Queen or Snow White or Prince Charming died than I would be Concerned.

The show is from the same writers of LOST, a show which killed off major characters every season, sometimes even multiple main characters in one whole season.

I wouldn't be worried at all. Plus they have so many fairytales to pick from they have an endless amount of main characters they can create for future seasons.

They can always add new main characters which i hope they do. That was one thing that was really interesting about LOST.

It was so great to see Emma and the Evil Queen get violent. I just don't know where this show goes when they really get violent though. Where do they go when Emma believes that there is a fairy tale world and believes that she is Snow and Charming's daughter and the Evil Queen knows that she knows? I mean are they going to be hiding in the forest with guns? I just don't know where they go when that happens.

It is still a long way away before Emma believes and before the Evil Queen knows that she knows, but still. I imagine the mayor with a shot gun stalking the streets of storybrooke trying to blow Emma's head off. Maybe not.
