DDL looks much more natural and much more like Lincoln to me.
I doubt historical accuracy is what they were going for with this one. This movie is meant to be more fun, not a history lesson.
probably because he is old lol
make up has never imo and never will make a younger guy convincingly look 100% like an older man
making a middle aged man an even older man comes across much easier than a 20 year old made to look in his 50's
i do like that ben has abe's height that ddl does'nt have even tho he will still be amazing
That's a weird shot. At first, I thought Dominic was floating in mid air and Ben was about to chop him.
Astounding rocker Tyler Bryant was recently tapped to contribute to Jim Lemley and Tim Burton’s long awaited new 3D action/thriller Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The film, which is directed by Timur Bekmambetov and produced by Tim Burton and Jim Lemley, will be released onJune 22, 2012 by 20th Century Fox.
"There is a profound mixture of attitude and virtuosity in Tyler's playing and we wanted it in the music of ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER...thankfully he said yes!" said producer Jim Lemley.
Bryant displays his impeccable skills as the featured guitarist on the Abraham Lincoln soundtrack, composed by illustrious composer Henry Jackman. Jackman has written scores for numerous blockbusters including X-Men: First Class, and Puss in Boots.
Bryant, along with his band the Shakedown, had a banner year in 2011. Their single “Shackles” was iTunes' Discovery Download during November 2011 and they were featured in the iTunes “Rock on the Rise” section for over 8 weeks. Bryant opened for Jeff Beck’s 2011 tour and has shared the stage with a handful of legends including Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, Paul Simon, Heart, B.B. King, Pat Benatar and Styx. Additionally, Bryant was featured in the award-winning documentary Rock Prophecies and was the first unsigned artist to have a song in Guitar Hero.
In other news, Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown are working with producer Dennis Herring (Modest Mouse, Elvis Costello, The Hives) at Sweet Tea Studios where they are putting the finishing touches on their new album, which comes out later this year on Carved Records.
Ahhh..."The Asylum"....
