Happy Independence Day, Guest!
And at one point you play as Rogue, having absorbed Deadpool's healing factor and deciding to take his mask and swords to kill some baddies.
The only thing that annoyed me during that part, was that you suddenly didn't have a counter button anymore.
Okay so I tried playing this thing yesterday and had to shut it off. The self banter is SUPER annoying and I know I would not be able to stand it for an entire game. That thing would drive me nuts and the humor felt very dry and not all that funny. Its like they tried too hard and it just doesn't seem to quite work
With that aside, the gameplay didn't feel good or fun either. I wish the gun mechanics was lock on instead of aim bc it unnecessarily slows down the action when it should be more seamless. I found it frustrating to take on multiple opponents. Granted I didn't play past the first level but the design there just seemed very basic and uninspired. I'll pass. I wasn't too interested before but my opinion hasn't changed after playing a little bit of it.
So Im only allowed to share an opinion when a game first comes out even if I play it a month later? Thanks for letting me know that this is how this board operates nowCool story bro?
All that has been discussed for quite some time. Most reviews have said the exact same thing you just did.
Apparently that's frowned upon nowDude don't be an ass, he's just sharing his opinion.
Yup exactly. We had a couple of weeks where we crunched pretty aggressively on Deadpool. Having Activision cut aand cut and CUT just took its toll on so many of us. For a studio to demand that we do mandatory overtime for a project and then keep cutting so much time and money from it was ridiculous. At about halfway into development we were told that we weren't even aiming very high in terms of score.
Can you imagine working on a game where your higher ups say "yeah we're shooting for a 64 or lower" and then have them give you mandatory overtime?

Wow... to have higher ups that actually order you to make a mediocre game.
That's kinda messed up. I was really looking forward to this game and when I actually played it I was let down. Damn Activision.![]()
The game is gone? Good riddance as it was awful.
Well Disney is continuing to take back its IPs instead of renewing the licenses. Its good to see Activision start to lose stuff as the Marvel properties really need to be out of their hands. At least Capcom gave notice before pulling them. Activision could have at least warned people
I long for the day where Activision will pay for all of this.
