Activision and High Moon announcing Deadpool project at SDCC

This game is $50 in retail and $60 on SEN. Makes NO sense

I asked the ACtivision Community Manager about this. Their MSRP is 50$, but it's not a Legal price. The 'S' is MSRP means hope "suggested" so Sony can put any price they want on there.

Apparently that wasn't the case here. It was a price mistake and Sony is issuing out refunds

No game deserves more than $30 buck tbh
Especially for the ones still having those enslaving back breaking college funds to pay back

As I said, Deadpool wasn't as annoying as I thought he'd be, but I also barely ever laughed. There were a few funny moments, but with scenes like the elevator, I was more like wtf. I think the problem for me was that they tried too hard with the random humor. Way too hard. I like the humor when it's situational. Like when we got the wide shot of Deadpool, realizing he has been impaled himself. Or when he thinks he's safe from the Waterfall, but he actually isn't.

I also thought there were some really clever ideas at playing with game conventions, like having Deadpool comment when you unlock achievements or that time when he runs away and the camera stays still and he has to come back and 'get you'. That kinda stuff was pretty neat.

Yeah, those were nice. Though the achievement gag got lost on me, because my PC game must have bugged out. Since I didn't get a single one during my entire playthrough. Also doesn't help that on Steam they pop up in the bottom right, and he was looking at the upper right corner. Anyway, back to jokes. The other one I enjoyed was slapping Wolverine, when Deadpool said "And this is because I want to see how long the players keeps pushing the button." or something like that.

Yeah, there were definitely some great nuggets in there. You know what, I hope this game does well enough to serve as the basis for the game I've been wanting for EVER... A co op Cable and Deadpool game (written by Fabian Nicieza). With this level of humour, more refined gameplay, tighter story, more varied levels, it would be awesome. You could even throw in some asymmetrical co-op, where Wade and Cable are seeing different things because Wade's hallucinating.

I think that was intentional.

Besides, they pretty much look exactly like in many of the comics.

They only share the same breast size (except i <3 DP girl). the models have different aspects, been rippping em.

I absolutely loved this game. I had a blast with from beginning to end. The gameplay is pretty simple, but its very fun to pull off the longer combos. This was also the funniest game I've ever played; the scene where Wade was slapping Wolverine had me in stitches.

If there's a sequel, I hope it has more of a plot. It was funny that DP was making the game up as he went along in this game, but I don't think the joke would be as funny a second time. I think Wolvieboy's idea of a co-op Cable & Deadpool game written by Fabian is perfect. Or maybe DP & Taskmaster, since Tasky would be able to have Melee combat similar to DP.

Honestly, when it comes to costumes, collectibles and other unlockables, they need to take a page from Beenox's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. This game is the definition of bare bones.

If you have the game on PC, you can export the textures, then use Texmod to overlay them on the default Deadpool.

Thats pretty poor, takes away from replayability as well.

Sad to hear the reviews on this game. It's one I was looking forward to. I'll just have to wait on the price to drop before buying it. It doesn't sound worth $50.

You can get through it in 5-6 hours, that's including cutscenes and everything. I can't comprehend how IGN could say it's a 9-10 hour game. And there is nothing to unlock, except for costumes which you can't use in the campaign. So the new game+ the game offers, is pretty useless, unless you just have to beat it on the highest difficulty again. So yeah, rental.

The only way they could redeem the game at this price is free DLC like new levels/content that makes up for it.

I unlocked one, then I stopped bothering, when I found out you couldn't use them in the campaign. Also, they made another stupid decision, by giving certain skins different weapons. Classic Deadpool for example, gets his Katanas replaced by rubber chickens. And you can't change that.

Victor and Scott slice and dice in Deadpool.
synopsis:today they played Dead pool , the humor works, it can be really funny at times but the combat isn't up to snuff.
