Activision and High Moon announcing Deadpool project at SDCC

Funnily enough, I could imagine a co-op Deadpool
Game with two deadpools still working :P

No Devil May Cry though, please. As far as gun weilding, sure but I don't want big ass crazy Japanese fighting game combos, I want something that's more fluid and grounded. I don't want to hit a guy 10 times with my sword before he dies, I want to hit him once with the sword and have his guts fly out.

I think what they could do is make it easy to basically kill dudes but add a Deadpool style point system, similar to the batman level up system. The more stylishly you take dudes out the more points you get.

Also, there neeeeeds to be a taunt button.

what fun is that? I think its more fun if you can do combos. Going for a realistic take, just doesnt seem that appealing especially not for a character like Deadpool
I agree with you on almost everything Wolvieboy, but when it comes to realistic I will take Havok's side
The game of Wolverine had you hitting a guy a few times before slicing him

I hope there won't be many titans to fight (if any), with titans in two Batman games and one Wolverine game, it's kinda too old for a comic book game

I really hope it is DMC gameplay with DP. That really seems more suited for him than anything else out

I agree with the DMC gameplay, only minus the air juggles.

I wouldn't mind Tasky as a co-op partner if co-op was completely optional. Sort of like an old school Streets of Rage/Final Fight thing, but with modern gameplay and not have it forced like RE5 where you have to rely on your partner and the games trying to sell that aspect.

Should definitely be optional. But if there's no co-op, what about regular MP instead? With playable characters like Agent X, Taskmaster, Bob, Outlaw, Cable, Domino, Wolverine, the entire Deadpool Corps, Weasel in that hightech Robo suit, Bullseye, Typhoid Mary, T-Ray, etc.

Though with Tasky's interesting power set I think he would probably be better served with his own game built around that. He'd make a cool boss though.

The only reason I want co-op or MP in this, is because I just want a chance to play as Taskmaster. It'll probably be a long time before he ever gets his own game.

I'm wondering if we'll see characters like Outlaw (who is a somewhat obscure character, but is sort of a Deadpool character). I hear she's going out with Deadpool in the comics, which annoys me since she was introduced as a love interest for Agent X (who I think has potential rather than being a Deadpool replacement at one point) who I've not been happy with how he has been treated in general.

I really do hop that Outlaw appears, as well as the rest of the entire supporting cast from the comics. This game needs more bouncy.

A little OT but just asking:

I'm not updated on the news lately but how likely is it that the Deadpool film will happen? I heard the script for it is awesome

They keep saying its coming but it'll probably never happen

It's up in the air. They seem to be dragging their feet, but work has been made on it. There's a director hired, there's a script and their apparently willing to wait on Reynolds and supposedly there's some concept footage shot, but there hasn't been any real work that guarantees the film going forward at this stage.

I'm a bit sceptical about including some mp modes. I'd rather just have a full singleplayer game, not just because I'm worried about how they would pull of the mp and if it would detract from the singleplayer, but because I find singleplayer games more fulfilling. I haven't really found a mp game that I can play for ages without getting bored easily or feel like I've seen it before.

That guy at the panel plays a really good Deadpool

The Panel was hilarious. "Sorry I shot you." :funny:

I hope the game's good but i''m sceptical about this considering the graphics.

I kinda wish some of the art was inspired by Alvin Lee's work, the guy from Udon comics
I don't mean Udon himself

Btw, here's the video of the panel where this got revealed. Apparently, Deadpool HIMSELF hijacked it and presented the trailer!

That was nice. I wonder who was under the suit.

Probably Nolan North, since he's voicing him in the game.

He sounded almost exactly like Nolan's Deadpool. At least, to me.

Nolan's Deadpool:

Video game Deadpool:

The "Best Ride Ever!!!" part really sounds like him.

Hulk's right behind him and he says ''Logan, I think we lost him!''
lol
I forgot how funny Deadpool was in the movie.

Do you think we're discussing whether High Moon's videogame Deadpool is Nolan North? The game itself undoubtedly is voiced by Nolan. We're talking about the guy who acted as Deadpool at the Comic-con event who clearly wasn't Nolan. The video is in the youtube link Movielord101 posted.

I liked the end credits joke with Deadpool in Wolverine vs Hulk.

I'm thrilled about this, hope it's good. It's pretty hard to screw up a Deadpool game, and they have High Moon and Nolan North on it. This will probably be an instant buy. I'd also love to see Taskmaster, maybe Bullseye, and Blind Al and Bob!

I hope it's not over the top crazy the entire time. I wonder if they'll manage to capture Deadpool's human and vulnerable side.

You speak my language :highfive:

Oh. Well, that's completely different.

I love both the fact that he's playing with a Wolvie action figure and the Domino poster in the background :P

(And the pizza box with the samurai sword sticking out of it :P )
