I LOVE that idea of Taskmaster being a co-op partner. Though, it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. For the sequel perhaps?
I hope this game's gameplay is similar to Devil May Cry, insane combos & all.
I wouldn't mind Tasky as a co-op partner if co-op was completely optional. Sort of like an old school Streets of Rage/Final Fight thing, but with modern gameplay and not have it forced like RE5 where you have to rely on your partner and the games trying to sell that aspect.
Though with Tasky's interesting power set I think he would probably be better served with his own game built around that. He'd make a cool boss though.
I'm wondering if we'll see characters like Outlaw (who is a somewhat obscure character, but is sort of a Deadpool character). I hear she's going out with Deadpool in the comics, which annoys me since she was introduced as a love interest for Agent X (who I think has potential rather than being a Deadpool replacement at one point) who I've not been happy with how he has been treated in general.
Although speaking of Agent X, I think he could possibly make a good co-op partner, but at the same time having another Deadpool-esque personality (and fighter) could be a bit too much or plain in terms of gameplay. Wouldn't mind him as a boss though. He'd make a great rival to DP.
Also, just to add to the fan wish list. I'd love for a Wolverine cameo/boss fight so Deadpool can at least tell him to 'suck it' in person. Either that or he can crank call him like he did in the comics before he died.
what fun is that? I think its more fun if you can do combos. Going for a realistic take, just doesnt seem that appealing especially not for a character like Deadpool
I've got to agree. One hit killing enemies doesn't sound much fun (unless I've played through it once or twice and am messing about with cheats lol), but then I guess it's also more of a personal preference really. Some people don't like combos, I'm not a big fan of them or games that rely heavily on them (though I'll still give some of them a good play through if the story and gameplay are good), but I still think there has to be some challange and struggle with even grunt level enemies.
Edit: didn't see your reply to Havok.
I just mean realistic in terms of combat, so if it's a ten hit combo, make it ten hits across multiple enemies, Arkham City/ASM style. Not the crappy punch one guy in mid air a million times of DMC
Ok, this I can understand. I'm not a fan of over complicated or high number combos. Though with moderate combos it still feels like enemies don't have glass jaws and I'm not worried about either learning boringly complex combos or hoping I can get through with button mashing.
