I wouldn't mind having Adam Baldwin for Ben. He has the gruff exterior and grumpiness and looks like the human Ben Grimm.

William Peterson is probably too fat now for Reed. I still think Bruce Greenwood could work though.

Well this is an old thread, but since Robert Redford seems to have been cast in Captain America 2, that potentially leaves wide open the possibility of really top notch talent in Marvel movies.

So with that in mind, now who would you like to see in a Marvel film? The likes of Meryl Streep? Daniel Day Lewis?

DDL is about as at the top as you get and I can't see him ever doing it. Anyone else though, it's a possibility since the Redford thing happened.

If the Thing isn't completely CGI then he at least needs a CGI assist like Iron Man gets. His body size much like Hulk's(though a bit smaller) is pretty much superhuman just by itself.

Since we have been getting such a wide variety of people involved in Marvel films (WWE wrestler Batista and Robert Redford announced back to back, that's about as different as you get), there seems to be no real limit as to what we may get, so here are some actors I really like, and if they ever show up in Marvel, as a hero, villain, love interest, SHIELD agent, coworker, or hotdog vendor, I will be very pleased...

For example, if you get Meryl Streep in a Marvel movie, does she have a role that showcases her acting? Or is it just Streep for the sake of having Streep?

i have this feeling that Michael Keaton would make a memorable Henry Peter Gyrich. i could just see him being a complete *$$ to superheroes. ...of course, i could say the same for William Fichtner.
