Which actors should Marvel recruit or which actors should Marvel have recruited?

Looking through this thread, I wish they'd start looking at smaller, new faces within the industry. It seems like whenever there's a new movie suggested it's always the same faces over and over being considered.

Time to get some fresh talent out there.

Derek Luke would also be a great addition to the roster, imo. I actually think he could've made an awesome T'Challa/Black Panther.

Jack Huston as Doctor Strange.

Olivia Wilde as Gamora.

John Cena as Captain America.

They should have given Titus Welliver something better to do than just play some lame SHIELD agent.

Jim Caviezel. As anyone. Ever. Even if just a Marvel TV show.
Apparently his fans wanted him to be Dr. strange... I think he would do it well, but Robert Downey Jr. would be perfect for the role too. XD Cumberbatch is a good choice too though.
Also people wanted him for Black Bolt... but it looks like not.
Caviezel would have made for a great Batman... obviously thats not Marvel though. :P

Any other ideas of who he could play?

I've never really gotten the fascination with Caviezel. He was good as Jesus and the Count of Monte Cristo, but he's been dull in everything else I've ever seen him in. I remember when he was lobbying to play Superman. I'm really glad that didn't happen because just because you have blue eyes and dark hair doesn't mean you can look like the man of steel. He looks more like Bob Denver.

Anyway, I guess I could see him playing some high-ranking military type, but that's about it.

Have you seen any epidsides of Person of Interest? He's great in it.

Anyway, I was pushing for him as Strange, now that that's out, the role I think would suit him best would be Deathstroke. Obviously, that's DC, but I can't really think of any Marvel comic characters that would fit him very well. Paladin or Taskmaster, maybe.

I would like to see Matt Dillion play a villain in a Marvel film.

Marvel Studio needs to recruit Nestor Carbonell for one of their films or shows. He was criminally underused in a certain trilogy; just watch Bates Motel, and see how much talent he has...

I may be alone in this, but I'd like to see Ronda Rousey play the new Thor, should Samuel L. Jackson ever whisper in Hemsworth's ear, and he suddenly becomes unworthy of the hammer.
Also, I'm still hoping that if they go with a white guy for Iron Fist, Daniel Bryan gets the nod of approval.

I think you are. Especially considering how she cant act.

I have a theory that by the time Hemsworth becomes unworthy in the films, Ronda will have spent enough time with the Rock to know how to act. In order to play Thor, you need to be a genuine badass, which is what Ronda is, and she has a similar look to what we've seen of the new Thor. All that's left is the talking, and I think the Rock could help her a lot with that.

Daniel Bryan on the other hand, I feel like what he lacks in his ability to cut promos (his mic skills aren't bad, they're just not great) might actually help him carry the role of a monotone monk that occasionally engages in witty banter. Plus, he's basically lived the lifestyle of a monk before, so he knows what to do to get into character for that role.

Marvel doesn't usually cast wrestlers/UFC stars in major starring roles in their movies. Even Batista in GOTG had to do several auditions before they felt comfortable giving him the role of Drax and that was for a team movie.

Batista is an understandable case for someone to need multiple auditions, but then again, so are the guys I just mentioned.
