Maybe he burned too many bridges. Or after Molly's Game came out it exposed him as being a piece of crap. That line in the movie (not sure if it was in the book but I imagine so), something along the lines of "I like destroying people's lives". Wow.
There’s a lot of stories of how bad he is toward service people and people he plays poker with.
When it comes to celebrity cases like this I'm always truly curious as to what their childhood was like. Was he always a spoiled brat or did he grow up more middle class but his career gave him a massive ego.
I wonder why Lucy Liu's career fizzled. Yeah, I know she was in "Elementary" but frankly I expected much more from her considering that she has both the looks and the talent.
She got older. Let's be real about it.
Some people just don't handle celebrity well. If you can become famous and wealthy and still kinda act like you did when you weren't that's pretty much how you know. You constantly have these industry people in your ear is part of the problem.
She's on Elementary and on another show on CBS's streaming service, plus she's also directing tv shows. She's another one that doesn't belong in this conversation since she's constantly working.
Don't think I have seen Maguire in anything since Spider-Man 3 sadly enough. There's no excuse for Maguire's bad behavior.
Hugh Jackman also made a ton of money playing Wolverine but is one of the nicest guys in the business. A true gentleman.
Maguire's bad behavior is the main reason he's pretty much faded into obscurity.
Don't think I have seen Maguire in anything since Spider-Man 3 sadly enough.
She is constantly working on TV. She was in just a couple of live-action films this decade.
I just enjoy how pretty much every film Leo has made in maybe the past decade has at least two scenes that have become meme worthy gifs or images. That is how you know you're an accomplished thespian.
Yeah, he was okay in Gatsby but he felt a little miscast to me. Or maybe it's just that Leo knocks it out of the park as Gatsby and Tobey was decent as Nick but nothing special. Of course, the parts are kind of written to wow you with Gatsby while Nick is just kind of the constant observer and moral compass (all the way back to the original novel) so that might have more to do with it than anything.
Yeah, especially Elizabeth Debicki, who makes him look like a Hobbit, lol. And you could tell the director knew that, because he pretty much removed the romantic subplot between Nick and Jordan.
Well in fairness Debicki is freakishly tall. I watched Widows and I swear she looks nine feet tall in every scene.
